Water Temp: warm
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished for 2 hours this evening with some new gear from Bass Pro Shops I got for Father's Day. I never Fished shaky head worms until today. THEY WORK! I caught Only 1 fish...But it was 25" inches(this was the first time I didn't bring my scale). I will guess about 8 lbs. plus. They raised the lake back up and the fish have moved up into the tulies again.
City: AntiochTips: Try shakey worms in watermelon or green pumpkin on a tungsten jig head. Toss into the tulies...these fish seem to be picking off bluegill and dragon flies.

Report: I used to love to take the family to Contra Loma to picnic. Taught my 2 sons to fish on the banks. Reminds me why we don't live there! BTW - hate to tell you but there's diversity on the Delta also, thankfully.

Report: Took the kids swiming today and one fishing pole with a shaky head and a few senkos,I never fish from shore to much boat our tube but today from shore.I saw two good fish up shallow and threw the small shaky head they would look but it did not feel right to me I left them alone for a couple hours went back and took them both on a senko first cast the male swam and nailed it big male at least 5 lbs I let him go and went after her she took it on the 3rd cast dead sticking it she went around 7-8 lbs pretty cool did not think I would hit any spawners and on 6 lb test spining rod go figure HA
City: PittsburgTips: See some spawners and catch um then please let them go back in the water

Water Temp: ?
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I CAUGHT A 8-9 POUNDER TODAY ON A BLUEGILL SWIM BAIT AND I ALSO CAUGHT A 4 POUNDER. I THINK THE BASS ARE LOOKING FOR BIGGER FOOD THEY CAN EAT BECAUSE I TRIED WACKY WORMS DROP SHOTTING AND SHAKEY HEAD AND I DIDNT EVEN GET A BITE. THERE ARE BIG BLUEGILL EVERYWHERE ON THE LAKE SO I THINK BLUEGILL SWIM BAITS ARE BETTER FOR BIG FISH.
City: PITTSBURGTips: BLUEGILL SWIM BAITS

Water Temp: 59
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: SKUNKED!!! We tried every lure known to man. I suspect it has something to do with the lake level having been lowered by at least a foot in the last week or so. Overcast with lots of wind.
City: ConcordTips: Call ahead to check lake level.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I caught a 3 and 2 pounder by the swimming area. I used a 6 inch roboworm with just a red 1/0 EWG hook. There was also 2 bass about 6-7 pounds cruising around in about 2 feet of water.fish shallow with weightless 6 inch roboworms. Purple/brown. cast out and jig them alot dont let the worm just sit there unless a bass comes up to it if the bass comes just let it get close and then jig it fast to get a strike.
City: PittsburgTips: keep your worm about 6 inches under water so you can see your worm.

Report: Thought the fishing would be tough after recent weather...just the opposite.Best day bass fishing I've ever had.Two 8 lbs, one 6 lbs, and 2 monsters...One 13.6 and one 14.2! This is no lie.Huge females on beds. I actually had 2 witnesses to take my picture with my phone. I couldn't believe the size and girth of these females. They were in less than 2' of water. All fish were caught near island next to clumps of tulies. All fish were weighed with digital scale. I was very tempted to take to kiosk to be weighed but I didn't have the heart to risk hurting these beauties.
City: AntiochTips: Pumpkin jigs with yamamoto craw trailers. The smallest came on a topwater "sammy" by lucky craft, and one took a brush hog in pumpkin/chart.

Water Temp: 60's?
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Wanted to say thanks to Tom for posting. His tip about shad cranks on the dam rip-rap paid off for me with a 6#, 3#, and 1.5# to help me place 2nd in the Bass-n-Tubes tourney held today. I was crankin a chart/white Norman Deep Little N. The wind was howling!
City: San JoseTips: Take others advice and expand on it.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Can't believe no noe else submits reports on this lake. Some of the biggest bass in the county can be found here. Anyway, big fish have now moved up on beds. Today I managed a 9.2 lb, a 2 and a 3. Big female smashed a chatterbait. I spooked her lastnight and went back today and dropped it on her head for an explosive reaction strike. Looked like a bowling ball fell on my bait. Big females are in the heart of the tulies. Seem to pick up more males outside edges of tulies and in extreme shallows.
City: AntiochTips: Sweet Beavers seam to be top producers with an occasional reaction strike from chatterbaits and rip baits.

Water Temp: warmin' up
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: 8 bass today all in tulieson south side. Pulled all of these fish from beds...mostly males 2-4lbs. and 1 female 8 lbs. All of these fish came on 7" yum lizzards. Lot of fish makin' beds but still a little ways to go for full blown spawn. Met a good bass fisherman today who also pulled a really good fish from swimming pool area on a rip bait and a couple good ones flippin'.
City: AntiochTips: fish between shore and tulie patches in skinny water 3' or less. Green with black flake and watrmelon w/red flake lizzards and sweet beavers dropped and dragged across beds.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished for 3 hours before work. Only 2 fish...First was 2 lbs. on drop shot on eastern shore along tulies. Second was a good 7 lb. female 10' off rocks on lucky craft lipless crankbait in american shad pattern. She swallowed this lure so deep I had to cut it off and remove it from behind her gill plate.
City: AntiochTips: Fish are starting to come up shallow. Saw a few shaking the tulies either making nests or chasing bluegill. Spawn should be on soon...until then, find the warmer water while the weather is cool.

Water Temp: Cold
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Hit the water at 11:00 and first 4 casts yielded 2 fat females. First fish 6 lbs and then 7.5 lbs. Both fish came from the rocks near the dam on American Shad pattern lucky craft pointer. These fish are thinkin' spawn but the new cold streak is confusing them. Tried my other "favorites" like senkos and drop shot but these fish wanted shad pattern cranks.
City: AntiochTips: Fish the wind blown banks. The fish seemed to be staged about 10' off the rocks looking for bait fish.

Water Temp: 48-51
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I have been float tubing the reservoir on the weekends for the past 2 1/2 months or moreand have done nothing but kill anything that swims. I have gone from days catching trout 3.5-8lbs left and right to catching catfish in the 5-8lb range and bass to 6lbs. I notice that when I get back to the docks that there have maybe been a stocked 12" trout or 2. lol If you know how to fish you will catch fish with regularity. This place is hot.
City: Walnut CreekTips: worms are the key

City: antiochTips: Throw a swimbait. Seeing alot of huge blackbass cruising the shoreline looking for bluegill or trout.
