Report: Was tough out there today, windyyyyyy. Manged 5 largest about 3.5, nothing big. All fish caught shallow earlier in the day. One on swimbait, missed a few on swimbait as well. Slowed it down a little and started catching the ones that were missing it earlier.

Tips: Temp needs to stay steady for a few days without water being pumped out of these lakes for it to really turn on.It has been a pretty weak spring so far..

Report: Hmm, I don't recall anyone weighing my bass since I C&R. I'm on a pontoon tube so I don't have a livewell either. Might have me mixed up with someone else. The "rumors" mentioned below are straight from the Inspectors themselves. I've asked several inspectors and all have replied the same thing.

Report: This probably should be on the forum, but I'm not
registered. What is up with Coyote? Nothing doing since since 6/28 my last trip out.

Is it just summertime blahs? or are the guys who are catching em just not talking.

Email me or post if you have any ideas.

    Thanks

Report: Got skunked. Fished 9:00 - 1:00 all around the north end walking the shore. Tried various plastics and spinnerbaits with not even a strike. Saw some fish in the big weed patches but couldn't get them out. Saw only one fisherman catch a bass from a boat. Everyone else I talked to on shore skunked too.

    Tips: Fish elsewhere?

    Water Temp: 76-78

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Man this place is tough this year, squeezed out 4 fish in 5 hours. Fished top water, texas, carolina with nothing, picked up three on dropshot and one on a deep crank. Biggest fish only 3lbs. Searched for packed deep fish and was unable to locate them.
Lake never got clear this year, changing water levels too much...
    City: San Jose

Tips: Maybe at night it will be better

Report: The lake sucks this year because the big bass decided to protest the Quagga Mussel Inspections this year. Hopefully the situation will be resolved so the bass walk off the picket line.
