Water Temp: 60+
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Hit Don Pedro for the 1st time on a 3-day houseboat trip w/ the wife. Had a great time. Managed at least a limit of keepers each day. Best was about 3.5. I had luck hitting shallow flats/backs of coves at sunrise and sunset. During the day, found most of my fish on main and 2ndary rocky points. Only got 1 hit on purple. They seemed to prefer greens and browns.
City: NewarkTips: Dropshotting 4" roboworms in natural colors.
Up to the bank early and late. About 10-20 feet out around the points during the day.

Report: Hi, I was at Don Pedro a couple weeks ago and left a report on here, but it's not showing up. I was just wandering if anybody else has been up to Pedro lately so I can see how the fishing's been. Has the water heated up at all? It was at 54 in the warmest area and the fish were holding from 20-45 feet deep. Seemed like people were having the best luck with purple and white lures, any change? I'll be back up there in a week or two, James

Water Temp: 51-55
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Started fishing from Flemming at around 7:30am on some main lake points. Me and a buddy were fishing some texas rigged worms, fishing them really slow, almost crawling them. We fished some Lucky Craft Pointers 78 and 128 in the shallower areas and some flats. Still nothing. Not till about mid day did my partner catch a nice female around 3 pounds on a paddle tale grub. The fish was taken around some rocks in about 15 feet next to some spawning flats. The fish aren't spawning quite yet but they getting ready. I would find some deep points next to a spawning flat.
City: Pleasant HillTips: The fishing was tough but im sure it will turn around soon. I would head to Don Pedro soon, the fishing is about to heat up here soon. Use brown worms or jigs and shake and crawl them along the bottom.

The water was warm and clear with almost no wind and very ew aternoon mudlines. The winners came in with 11.43 but ailed to score a limit. There was a short lived topwater bite in the morning around timber. The rest o the day was dropshotting or splitshotting worms and lizards. The contestents tried spinnerbaits, crankbaits, ripping Lucky Crats, Senkos, and jigs. The slow moving worm was all that worked and it was very slow ishing.
City: BelmontTips: Go slow, then go slower. Some o the best ish came while dead sticking during a time a isherman was raching or a Coke or a cigarette.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished or 4 days and ound the typical tough conditions or summer at Don Pedro. 3-13 was the largest ish or me this long weekend. I caught 2 or 3 keepers each day and lots o small ish. Darthead salt and pepper Keeper Custom worms, (color #'s 1001B and 1031) along with dropshot 6" worms rom Keeper in Shad patterns (color #'s 1048, 1064 and 170) worked best. The ish seemed to be about 15 to 25 eet. The thing I did ind was that i you ished in the shad you saw on your meter, Lowrance LCX15MT, ishing was tough, but i you ished where you didn't see shad on the screen and came across bass, those ish would eat. Less competition or the artiicial out o the schools o bait I suppose. Most o the ish were in the river arms that I ound. Main lake stu was real slow. Fish slow with conidence. Have un!
