Report: Been spending time on Pedro lately, trying to wire it in or the ABA TOC last sat. I'd say it's been real tough, with an occasional ish here & there. Got a real good draw (8th out) ran unempeded rom Fleming to the back o the river. Last week I had our ish or about 8 lbs. and elt good about my chances. Nothing happened or two hours, nor did I see anyone catch a ish. The Lee brothers started accross rom me so I elt coortable being in the area. Finally about 10;30 I caught a dink, next cast caught a 13 1/2 keeper, splitshotting a small lizard. Caught another short ish 30 minutes later, and that's all she wrote or us or the day. Ran into the Lee's down river, who were camped out on a slide area, said they had 4 ish. They appeared to be ishing pastics deep. Saw a team boat a 3lb, thowing a jig, bro/green. 129 teams, only 69 teams weighed in at least one ish. The word is the tournament winner had 18+ lbs, while ishing behind another boat in Moccassin, catching suspended ish, somehow, I don't know?
City: San LeandroTips: Fish at night, the bite's better!!!!!!

One team caught some nice ish and inish high using spoons.nice keeper on spoons. Not many teams caught limits andquite a ew are still blanking. We caught one ish carolina rigging a brushhog in the tree tops in Mocassin and alsoone ish splitshotting a Yodo bait. The last ish came splitshotting a 4 inch paddletail worm in ront o the spillway.

Report: I helped a riend preish or an upcoming club tournament Friday night, (8/20). Hit the water at 8:30 pm, getting dark quickly so we headed staight to the back o Woods Creek. Spent the irst hour throwing jigs- no bites. Next, I tried a 6 inch black w/char tail worm. Better success. Caught a 2 lb ish misssed several more. At 11:00 pm., we decided to try lippin the laydowns and the blu banks. Jackpot!!! It was just like ishing the Delta. Flipped June-Bug Brush Hogs. In an hour we boated 5 ish- biggest was 4lbs. What un! The lippin technique allowed us to stay in the strike zone and more importantly, it allowed us to cover water ast! I've never lipped in a night tournament beore so this was a revaltion!
