Report: Started at 5 pm in Big Oak/Little Oak Island areas & kept working this area until we let at 9 pm. Split shotting green weenie style 4" worms boated us 12 large mouth 3 o which were dinks. Keepers averaged 2 lbs.. Best areas were steeper rocky points. Tried spooks & jerk baits o & on but no takers. Fish were a little more aggressive today even ater all the tourneys lately & the additional boat traic.
City: DelhiTips: Rocky/steeper main lake points w/our ish coming rom 5' to 15' o water.

Report: Fished Blue oaks & main lake area rom 3 am too 11 am.Caught 7 or 8 ish,lost 3 on a jerk bait & only one o them may have been a keeper.We only got 4 keepers up too 1 3/4 lbs.Thes were caught draging a grub.Only one small ish on a crank bait & nothing on a spinner bait.

Report: Fished rom 4:30 am too 1:30 pm Between hwy 120- Stint rd briges & woods creek area.Caught app 30 bass,only 9 keepers up too 2 3/4 lbs.Two keepers on crank bait & one on a senko,rest o the keepers were caught on worms rom 5 to 15 t deep.Nothing on top water or spinner bait,only small ish on a jerk bait.

Report: Started at 5am in ourty nine creek area.Caught the irst ish at app 5:30 & the last one at 12:30 pm..Next stop was Blue oaks area & inished up in the dam area...Caught 18 bass,all on worms & grubs rom 5 t too 15 t deep.We had seven that probley weighted 12 lbs.Some were caught on the all,very light bit.Last one caught was the largest,about 21/2 lbs.,Cali. worn on a 1/4 oz. darter head,15 t...Only caught 3 on the senko.

Report: Fished Don May 8-10 during hot weather! Water clarity was an easy 20 eet-easy spookin'. Had little luck the irst two days ishing plastics, spinners, rapalas, crankbaits... near Middle Lake. Saw a lot o big carp in the arms and bays mixed in with the bass. We even tracked down big schools o baitish, tried rocky points, grassy slopes, drop-os, the works. Finally, it all came together day 3, still hot as sin, and landed 7 or 8 ish between 7am and 1pm. Two bass went 3.2 and a couple more went 2.2 pounds. We had un camping above the ol' water line, nearly 30 eet below normal-yikes! Good luck the rest o the year-it'll be low and slow.

Report: On lake by 5:30 a.m. started catching ish right away. Anything rom 1.5lbs. to 4.5 lbs. Using watermelon with red lake brush hogs. Throwing them almost on shore with a slow retrive. Bite stopped suddenly at 8:00a.m.Caught between 8 to 10 ish in the 2 hrs I was out.

Report: ished pedro yesterday. best results on a salt and pepperworm with a chartruse tail. all o the ish were running1.5 to 4# best. about 11:30 the moon came up and ound the black spinner blade with a crome #4 indiana blade worked best. they would slam the bait no questions. again 4# best but caught about 30 ish or the day.

Report: Gradual sloping grassy banks just inside o middle bay using 4" green weenie style worms and lizards on a split shot rig got us a limit and culling by 9 am. Tried cranks & jerk baits rom 6:30 to 7:25 w/no hits. Switched to worming & boated our irst ish at 7:30. Had to drag the worm real slow & be ready to set the hook at the irst sign o the sot pressure pickup. Let or Rogers Creek at 11:30 & picked up one 2 1/2 lb. black then ished the last 1/2 hr. in Rodriguez. Hooked a 6 + but didn't get a good hook set. Tried to keep the ish down & the line tight but it made a quick run or the boat & jumped spitting the hook just beore it got into netting range. Ended up with a 5 ish limit o 12.60 lbs.
City: DelhiTips: Slow drag split shot craw colored worms. Grass & sandy coves w/the ish in 10 to 15' o water.

Report: I ished pedro or the last ew weekends and it has been outstanding! 3weeks ago best 5 or 23+lbs. two weeks ago best 5 or well over 30+lbs including a 9+lber just yesterday had well over 20lbs or 5 ish including a 8+lber But this is night ishing. i you go be careul.

Report: Contra Costa Bass Club ished 04/15/01. 12 Boats. Only two limits caught. Winning weight was 8.57 lbs with big ish coming in at 3.5 lbs. Most ish caught split shotting 4 or 6 inch worms in 6 to 12 eet o water on steep banks with big rocks. Lots o ish seen but would not bite. Most common colors were amber green and green weenie. Tough bite ater recent weahter the last two weeks. Bite should turn on with warmer weather.

Report: Started in Middle Bay at 6:15 am in likely spawn & staging areas. Tried cranks & jerk baits irst but switched to 4"/6" worms on both split shot & Texas rig. 4" worms, grn weenie styles w/red or red & grn lake, out ished the 6" worms. Only one keeper on the Texas rig. Gentle slope grassy coves produced the most but they were clone 2 1/2 to 3 lb. bucks. The bigger ish, our biggest was 4 lbs., came rom the steeper secondary pts. w/scattered chunk rock. All ish came rom 10' or less. Culling by 8:15 am but bite really slowed ater 11. 6 ish limit o 13.60 lbs.
City: DelhiTips: Spawn is here but lots o ishing pressure has kept the bites to just sot pressure bites or slight line movement. Plastics out ished reaction baits.

Report: Fished a tourney today. Fished grassy gentle sloping coves & steeper rocky pts. & coves in Middle Bay then Rogers. Bigger ish came o o the rocky points, our big ish was 4 lbs., but the numbers o 2 to 3 lb. bucks came out o the grassy coves. Best bite or us was 6:30 to 8:30 am w/5 in the live well by then averaging 2 1/2 lbs.. No hits on cranks o jerk baits all our ish came o o green weenie type worms w/ red or red & green lake. the 4" worms out ished the 6" worms & lizards. Bites were just pressure or slight line movement w/no hard hits.
City: DelhiTips: Split shot rig out ished texas rig. Use your avorite craw pattern 4" worms & work it slow. Stay ocused to set on the pressure bites. All ish came out o 10' or less.

Report: American Bas Anglers Club- launched 5 boats at leming meadowsThe weather was cold, rainy, and windy. The irst ish was caught shaking a worm, this ish required popping ater in the livewellor 5 minutes. Our next ish came on a white speed trap in approx.6 t o water, ater running around on the lake we returned to ourirst spot to pick up another ish on a white spinnerbaitwith double willow leas.First Place reurned with 3 ish or 9 plus LBS. with a 4+ ,second place returned with 2 ish or 6+ LBS with a 4+,Me and My partner returned with 3 ish or 5+ lbs.2nd place 4+ was caught on a spinner baitOlenty o water running into the lake .
City: MartinezTips: Be prepared or cold weather dress, accordingly,ish are starting to move up rom deep water so keep checking ish ater there in the well to see i they need to be popped,reaction baits seemed to be the ticket or us as a whole,some ish came on jigs and worms.P.P.

Report: Fished the 100% tourney today. Launched at 6:30am. Started o in Big Creek, not a bite, stayed there until 10:30am and decided to head out to Rogers. Couple years back we placed 6th in a West Coast Bass tourney and decided to hit that spot in Rogers. We caught 4 ish or 9lbs on a 25' stretch o bank. Caught 2 on a purple spider grub, 2 on a 4" Summer Moss. When we placed 6th we had 22.5lbs and they came o this same 25' stretch. When we let we heard 14lbs was in the lead. All the ish came in the 15' range.

Report: Fishing a Mid-Cal tournament..From sae light too 3pm...Caught 8 bass rom 12 1/2 ins. too 4.24 lbs..Seven ish came on cali.worms & one on a keeper worm.All 6in worms,darter heads & light carolina rig.Fish came rom 20 too 40 t deep.

Report: Caught 5 bass rom daybreak too 10 am ishing sharp drop os rom 11 in. too 2 1/2 lbs sixth ish came rom a cove at app 11:30 on a leach,it was a good 3 1/2 lbs.The early ish were caught on worms & grubs,splitshotting & jig heads rom 20 too 30 t deep.They were all hard bits & at ish.
