    City: Roseville CA.

Tips: All my strikes came after letting bait sit for atleast 20 seconds.

Report: senkos along the inlet dropoffs and some willows/trees. not real consistent but picked up some 1-2lbers (5). 5" strike king zero (senko type) in junebug worked for me this time. nothing on dropshot but then didn't work it long.
    City: folsom

Tips: mostly senkos, wacky and flick shakin' them. most took on the fall.
riverat: check out kent brown's video on summer topwater...talks about doing topwater all the way to 2pm and he's on the money. sometimes an area looks good and my brother and i will do topwater and we hit. summer and warm days of fall we always work topwater first thing in the morning and then throughout the day if it looks good. even til sundown.

    Water Temp: 62

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: This is my 4th time fishing at folsom lake. I kinda took my time fishing on flats n rocky points to kinda learn the lake. The first n second time I fish here was when it was a river or a pond. The third time was last week n figure they still in spawing area. This week they still there but not as big or as many. Flats with submerge rock pile ..i threw popper, crankbait, spinner to no result. Threw carolina rig from flat to deep with no result, hoping the female be in deep after spawning. Went with drop shot n bite was on. I found them in flats w/submerge rocks near by and calm from the wind. Caught a 2lbs spotted in tree in about 12 feet of water, try a few other submerge tree but only that one i caught spotted. Caught smallie in submerge rock b4 the flats, LMB in flats. Caught 6 lost 3 nxt to the boat, wacky style..don't set hook hard enough. On one of the flat i've must saw light 20 plus carp in the shallow chasing wat look like fry, blow up everywhere. Saw a few 10-15lbs cruising in 10 ft of water. I wonder is it legal to use a bow on carp at lakes? I know the fight real hard n was thinking about to snag it with rattle trap for the fun fight n release it of course but i didn't..haha
    City: elk grove

Tips: once i've caught fish, try to find the identical spot n fish it fast but slowly. Robo worm n senko was the go to bait. DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHEN TOP WATER IS ON AT THIS LAKE?? WHEN WOULD BE THE GOOD TIME TO FISH SUBMERGE ROCK PILE IN THE DEEP?

Report: Dad and I got three bites we know of, but only one in the boat. Bite was very light for us. Drop shotting various colors. Clear with black flake & chartreuse tip was the winner today. I'm sure others did better. Water temperatures are rising. Varied from 58 to 61 today in main body and up in N. Fork. Saw lots of fish (carp and small mouth). The water is definately rising as we launched from Granite Bay's mid water docks. Water is clear. Good Luck.

Report: Worked S.Fork inlet sides; brother and I picked up 2 with eggs..2.5 and 3 lbs. Then on to another quiet cove and picked up another 2.5lb male, female tagged along to surface and was probably 4 lbs, noticeably bigger as she swam with her mate. Just 3 for the day but still fun.
    City: folsom

Tips: Used zappu inchi-wacky rigs; bro used perch dropshot worm (3.5"); I used 6" pro-worm in prizm shad. probably others had better luck with something different but this is what we stuck with today.

Report: Don't go to Folsom now , the fish are cold and will not spawn for two month's at least.I would wait for the jet ski traffic to know the bite is good. OK that's a lie , the bite is actually pretty good , not red hot yet but good. I have been out three times through this cold front and had decent action every time. However that said I have not had a good reaction bite, almost all my fish have been on plastic. Ripping and top water have let me down.

All smallies and spots , the average fish is two and a half lbs with my biggest a four and a half lb spot last night. I have not seen any large mouth yet
