    Water Temp: na

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Ray, Delta is windy most of the time no matter where you go. We usually launch from New Hope on the north end and in 'the meadows' area there's alot of islands and trees that block wind...fishing can be hot/cold but you gotta watch the tides because the low tide can ground you.
    City: folsom

Tips: because i'm on a deepv and my trolling motor is only 55lbs, i anchor on good spots and sometimes a single anchor just drags anyway so at least it slows me down on a drift. if i want to stay there, i double anchor.

Report: Nice report/tips Jim. Worth trying and we're willing to try...especially if our tactics aren't hitting. Thank you.
    City: Folsom

Tips: when your own favs aren't working, doesn't hurt to try others' tips....can't do any worse and it often gets us to practice what we don't use often enough! Folsom is a hard lake to fish; I've heard pros, local and non-resident say that.

Report: Hey Mike, thanx for the straight up word on current condition at Folsom. Have always known it can be good at times but it's a hard lake..many others have said the same thing. But you're right, just gotta keep at it! My brother and I are thinkin' they're moving or have moved deeper. Next time out we're gonna brave the chop and skiers/wakeboarders and hit our favorite structure out on the main body.
Thanx again for the true skinny on Folsom!!
    City: folsom

Tips: Same as Mike's and Chris B's and others who know Folsom.....keep at it and don't let low numbers discourage..I did and now I'm back with a purpose!!

Report: Folsom is really tough right now brother, we went out of Granie Bay yesterday morning and went all the way up the North fork to the river. We manged to get 2 fish up there and that was it. We then hit the main body and Browns Ravine with no luck. All I can say is keep at it.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Launched Dike8 and started ripping out left along the rock wall/construction road; also had dropshot..zip/zero. Ran to Brown's Ravine willows using senko, darthead, dropshot, even topwater-zip/zero. Next to NewYorkCove trying all same-zip/zero. Next further in at dogleg before Jack'sShack...zip/zero. Continued up river into 5mph but not quite to SalmonFalls Bridge...zip/zero. Back out to main lake peninsula willows-zip/zero. Submerged islands in front of Dike8 and out to depths of 30ft-zip/zero. Even tried countdowns and some slow-rolled spinnerbaits at depths we saw fish (7-12-20-30ft.....ZIP/ZERO! Trying real hard to like this lake in my backyard...real easy to dislike it...but still trying to like it! Chris B....help!!!
    City: folsom

Tips: ZIP/ZERO - Tried everything that worked during similar conditions each year...each year changes. Thought going out middle of the week would help with less boat traffic...NOW THAT WAS NICE! Saw other bassers...saw no fish but I want to believe they caught. Haven't tried N.Fork....Should I??? Maybe Chris B. might help ...That is always appreciated!!

Report: Launched Dike8, worked island tops just outside Brown's Ravine-0; went into Brown's to work the willows-2missed hits on senko. Ran up S.Fork to NewYorkCove, worked left side willows...couldn't work them too close, overnighter boats parked in all the coves. Big Zip. Ran out to main lake peninsula willows; 1 ea for brother and me on darthead senko(junebug) and aaron's magic 6" worm. They were there with lots of carp. held tight in the trees.
    City: folsom

Tips: if you have the patience, work the trees; if not, we're thinkin' they may have gone deep, but have nothing but sonar to back that up only as a theory. Think we'll go to the Delta.

Report: Consentrated on 15-20' depth, and then moved up and back. Could not find em. Two fish all day, one SM and one spot --nice 3 1/2 lber but beat up looking. So much water in the lake that it is hard to find my spots because they are so deep now. The peninsula is gone! Tried frog, worms and senko. Wind blew good all day. Sure is pretty tho with all that water and no bathtub ring shoreline.

    Water Temp: 64

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: On the water around 8:45 am when a new friend who has never fished Folsom. We started working trees with little results. We did managed a few out of the trees but ended up on catching most of our fish on Senko's. Boat position in 20-25 feet and then tossing up to banks. A lot of fish hit the bait on the fall or just as it hit the bottom. Most bites very lite. End up with 30+ fish with most being smallies and spots. Most fish around that 2 lb range with some bigger chunk's with some pushing 3.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished with bro-in-law today from 1:30 pm to 4. Had to leave cause of rain. Had one nice spot about 2 lbs. Hit it on a smoke/purple with flakes Senko. Felt like I had weeds all the way til the fish jumped out of the water!
    City: Rocklin

Tips: Fish very slow. Tried spinnerbaits, topwater sammy's, jigs, and Senkos. The Senko seems to be most productive at this lake for this time of year. I can't wait til they start committing to spinnerbaits and crankbaits!!!
