Report: To those who are new to Folsom Lake reports: any reports by "jim" should be ignored. Please do NOT think you can go out every time and get big bass "close to ten" as easily as he makes it sound. Jim is a pathelogical liar and is doing new Folsom fishermen a great disservice. He is a sad example of poor upbringing and a serious lack of self worth (hence the need to post so many false reports). So sad he never grew up.

Report: First fish close to ten (black). Caught about three limits and left early. Big fish 45ft, some up to ten feet. One tons in green pumpkin, dart heads in oxblood and arrons magic, hopkins 1/2 ox spoons with stinger replacement hooks. No threes or fours today, I guess the storm quitened them down a bit.

Tips: Use a variety of lures and experiment with others that you don't have confidence in(it may just chsnge).

    Water Temp: 58-60

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went out to find the bite. Found a pretty good Darthead/Robo bite around the rockpiles just under the surface. Spot's up to 3 lbs. A little wind later in the AM stirred up a couple spinnerbait and ripbait fish. Ended up with 7 fish for about 13-14 lbs. for the best 5.
    City: Roseville

Tips: While Jim/Wooch/Jimbo or whatever he wants to call himself is a knowledgable angler on Folsom, please DO NOT take his reports seriously. He has once said that he does it to play with peoples minds. He has punted off of WesternBass once before for being stupid and it's only a matter of time now. Sell crazy elsewhere Jim, we're all filled up here.

    Water Temp: 59 up river

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went to falling water collection area and found no fish. I moved down stream and found a big school in 35 ft, spoons were the ticket. Got tired and moved around that area, both sides and caught feeders, a bit larger on one tons.

Tips: When water is falling, follow the bait. Reaction baits usually do not prevail unless fish are in an ambush area.

    Water Temp: ???

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Had 20 plus pounds for five today, one smallie over five and the rest were spots. No blacks today. Reaction, finese, and jigs worked alternately ove same structure until 10:00, then I left. yesterday was about the same , but caught only 17 pounds with more blacks because I fished a different structure which was deeper and had current.

Tips: When fishing a good spot, learn to work it off and on to see if fish replenish on it, if they do, you got a good one.

Report: Can someone please explain to me why the water district is releasing water from Folsom at the same rate?? Incoming 3800 cuft in and 3800 cuft out! This is suppose to be a wet warm year so snow pack will be minimal. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. Los Angeles can't need the water that bad can they??
    City: EDH

Tips: Stop the madness save our water!!!!!!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched out of Granite Bay & met the Ranger at the ramp. They really increased the outflow this morning big time, so he said he would probably close that ramp today or this weekend. 5mph wasn't in effect yet, but he said it would most likely be tomorrow or Sunday. Fished all over from 10am-1pm & the only bite all day was a FAT 5.0lb spot in the south arm.

Tips: Tried everything. C-rigs, tubes, swimbaits. The fatty came on a deep crankbait but no other hits on it.
