Water Temp: 76-78
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Started out at 4:30 and headed north tried drop shotin' nothing kept going north and fished rock walls and piles then at 7:00 off a rock wall caught 8 in about 15 min biggest was 3# most were 2#,spots and 1 smallie. All caught on DT-hula grub then. Then tried some top water plenty of blow ups but they were so small they couldnt hook themselves. I was not expecting things to go as well as they did considering how things are going out there but i had a great time. But still going to spend more time at the delta, but its nice to run out to folsom for a quikie after work.

Water Temp: 75
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Well, I said I'd take a break but just thought the slight weather change below 80s-90s might bring on a bite......NOT! Saw lots of fish anywhere from 7ft to 40ft. Lots at 25-35ft. Caught my best 6"er of the year! Oh, what a NICE HIT! And then the reality hit me that it was only 6inches. Gotta love Folsom Lake for bein' 5mins from my house....keeping me from going elsewhere!! Delta, here we come!!!
City: folsomTips: Sorry, anyone getting excited over a 6" bass is not qualified to give tips. 6 HUGE inches!!!!

Water Temp: 78ish
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished four days, only two keepers. Went to all phases of water column with various baits, nada. Cooler water being drawn with lowest gate, maybe it has an effect on the bite. Plenty of bait and smaller bass fry.
Tips: Go golfing or prepare for the hunting season. Wait until temperatures are cooler.2.19

Water Temp: 79
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: On the water 6:45am; very peaceful; graphing lots of fish and baitballs at 20-25ft; also at 35-40ft. Went deeper because we couldn't put 'em on the hook. Tried dropshot, darthead, with Aaron's Magic, Morning Dawn, Hologram Shad, and Smoke Shadow Shad.....2 missed hits til last hour at 11:am...finally put a 1.11 smallie on a darthead/aaron's magic. Only one on the hook. Decided to call it a day. Will wait for drawdown, cooler weather, and 5mph limit to go out again. Guess I'll go shooting and get ready for some hunting.
City: FolsomTips: Keep trying..find the right pattern/presentation, post it, and change my mind about waiting for the 5mph restriction! lol Hey Chris, I'll listen to you!! ChrisB is a standup guy and I'd accept his tips no question!!

Water Temp: 74-77
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Went out with two of my buddies who want to learn. Bad time to take them out, haha. Bite was real tough. Fished drop-shot and dart head with only about 5 bites all day. Caught one little smallie on the dart-head. Still beats working anytime.
City: FolsomTips: Not much. Folsom really sucks right now. We tried South Fork, North Fork, and Peninsula with little results or action. Also fished from 15-30 ft. Only fish came about 20 ft. Maybe they are down real deep?

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: At dawn, we worked the South Fork with poppers, spinners, and crack baits. We worked down the coast along Dyke 8, and nothing. Before we came in, and to kill some time, we started working in the coves up the Granite Bay shoreline. Got 1 small bass on a Lucky Craft crankbait as we were about to come in, and literally on what was going to be my last cast of the day.
City: FolsomTips: Lately, you just need to be very lucky.
