    Water Temp: 75

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Started at 4:30 p.m. around Anderson Island with white terminator spinnerbait however no hook-ups in 20 mins. Moved out to point and graphed bait and ish in 25-30 t. Fish associated with bait readily bit dropshot 4 in. Roboworm sculpin (Aaron's Magic)on 4 lb. P-Line CXX. The ish were smaller, mostly squeekers and rats, but the numbers were there and most importantly, they bit. Moved to islands west o loating outhouse in North Fork (Eddie Murphy's Cove?) and ound numerous ish, mostly the same grade as above. The ish were outside the hazard buoys in 20-25 t. Again, they ate the dropshot sculpin. Tried ripping but no dice.
    City: C.H.

Tips: Find the bait, ind the bait, ind the bait. Mostly inding active ish on points in 20-35 t. water. 24 in. between bait and weight.

    Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Started in the South Fork working steep bank with spook. Had two takes but no hook-up. Switched to dropshotting the same bank with 4 in. Roboworm sculpin (Aaron's Magic) on 4 lb. P-Line CXX in 25-40 t. and caught my largest smallmouth (3+)to date, a handsome 3+ spotted bass and two sqeekers. Graphed ish out to 50 t. and bait balls were all around. On occasion the surace would erupt with bass chasing bait but or the most part they looked like this year's class. O water at 9 a.m.
    City: C.H.

Tips: I have good success with any style Roboworm in Aaron's Magic. The ish came rom an area where the steep bank trasitioned to a long point. Bottom was sticky suggesting a rocky bottom.

Report: On the water at 5:15pm and tried drop shotting in 20-30 eet o water near Dike 8 with no action.Switched to working brush piles with Rapal Fire Tiger Broken Back around 6:30 and proceeded to boat 5 ish. Two dinks with the largest keeper going 2.5 lbs. Was casting past brush and working it back as close to brush pile as possible. Bites seemed to come ater lure hit brush, then a slight hesitation on the retreive, then slow retrieve and bite would come.Overall a good 2 1/2 hours on the water.
    City: El Dorado Hills

Tips: Clouds started to roll in the ar west around 7:00 making or a beautiull sunset and quickly darkening sky. Full moon was rising as I was leaving. Another angler at the dock said he had an incredible bite up the North Fork on Rip Baits.

Report: Picked up ish rom Anderson Isle up to North Fork spooning. Total o 8 ish, but decent quality rom 2-4 lbs. They were coughing up shad. All on deep points but structure didn't seem to matter. Just turn on the graph and trolling motor and chase balls o bait.
    City: Folsom

Tips: Fish were any where rom 30-45 t deep. I was using a 3/8 oz. silver spoon with a custom #4 Gamakatsu treble hook/eather trailer on 4# Iron Silk. Hits were on the all mostly, so I was controlling the rate o sinking and not letting it lutter too much. Cover a lot o water ast.

Report: Well not a great report, ound ish and got three keepers. Albeit a post ront rom yesterday's wild storm, I did not expect much. I ound tons o stacked balls o bait and ish, many short strikes. The ish were there and they pulled the plug on the lake it is dropping ast, be launching at Hobie Cove in a week or so.The new GPS/Sonor is awesome, why I waited I will never know but what a improvement. I have not ever been much o a sonor reak or inding ish but this should make me better.
    City: Sacramento

Tips: The next ew weeks should see a great bite open up as the ish go on a migration to the arms or a while. The trick will be ollowing and patterning them.

Report: Wind and cool weather created one o the best crankbait bites I have ever had. Fished rom 5pm to 8pm and caught around 20 ish up to 3 lbs. Most were spots but big ish was a largemouth.
    City: Folsom

Tips: Fished wind blown shores "uphill" with Lucky Crat Moonsault CB 350 in Pearl Ayu color. Anywhere with trees, I would cast out past them and "kneel and reel." Otherwise, I would look or shallow banks with a drop o rom 7 eet down to 15+ eet. Most bites came rom suspended ish right ater the crankbait hit the ledge o the drop o. Key was ishing uphill with the petal to the metal on the trolling motor set on 3.

Report: Decided to try my luck at Folsom by getting out irst thing in the A.M. and throwing some topwater.I ound out that I have no luck , no bites at all. I threw spooks, buzzbait, jig, plastics to no avail. This has been the worst year I have ever encountered at Folsom. I caught ish this spring but not near the quality or numbers that the last ew years have produced. The spawn seemed to last a ew weeks as well. Probably the constant rise in lake level kept me o balance.
