Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: I ished Laayette Reservoir rom 6:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. I caught an undersized Largemouth Bass on a popper and a 13" 1lb 1oz Largemouth Bass on a plastic worm. I also caught two Rainbow Trout on the plastic worm (I thought that was kind o odd!?!) I caught a ew more undersize bass and a bluegill. For one reason or another, the small 6" bass seem to be very aggressive (all over the lake), much more than in years past. A good sign perhaps?
City: ClaytonTips: However and whatever you ish, have patience.

Caught three nice ones o the handicap dock with power bait. Other anglers also had great success around the Ranger station on powerbait. Keep you posted through out the week.

Report: My son and I ished the east cove yesterday where I pulled out a 22 inch 5 pound channel carish plus a 14 inch rainbow trout. What's ironic is I caught the big' un on a 5' Zebco spinning rod that I got or less than $20 at a Kwik-E-Mart. Cause my good rod, my trusty Ted Williams reel model 475 and its matching 6' "Tournament model" iberglass rod was in the shop getting its much needed tune-up cuz' its been in constant use since 1969.
