    Water Temp: 53

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Went float tubing at Miller's Point for a couple hours around 11AM today. The lake is full and the water is cold and muddy. I was surprised to see lots of activity - fish and baitfish - in water that was 20ft or more deep. I decided to shake a finesse worm with brass and glass, focusing mainly on deep water (>15 ft.).

I managed to catch one 13-incher from the base of a eucalyptus tree in 22 ft of water. Classic pressure bite, even though I was shaking the worm like a madman. Had three consecutive bites at another tree but couldn't convince the fish to take the worm.
    City: San Francisco

Tips: Fish deep and annoy them into biting.

    Water Temp: 60

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the launch area, 15 - 30 yards from the launch ramp. Found a drop-off with rocks, that's holding a school of fish. Caught fish from 1 - 3 lbers, using droptshot with zoom finesse worm. Presentation is the key. Also, caught suspended fish jigging a spoon.
    City: South Bay

Tips: When using dropshot, cast to a spot and do not move the bait, just shake it and let it sit there for a while (1 - 2 minutes). Be patience, until there is weight on the line. For jigging spoon, pay attention as the the bait flutter down, that's when the fish would hit.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Took my 3 year old daughter out for 3 hrs in my 14ft Gregor and used the trolling motor and fished for bass and crappie but no luck on the launch ramp side of the lake so I decided to head in at 7:30 and put the trolling motor on 5 and started trolling a blue/silver cast master and caught a trout, hey better than nothing:)
    City: San Jose

Tips: The last time I fished here I fished the freeway side and did well but that was 5 years ago:), 5 years ago I did well on 3 inch power grub and caught 15 bass and 15 crappie, did not get bit this time. I did here of a few crappie being caught where the water comes into the lake according to the ranger. Castmaster for trout:)

    Water Temp: 65

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Launched at about 3:00. Weather was perfect, about 70-75 deg.s, very little to no wind, starting to cloud over. Fishing was a little slow. Caught two while waiting for my friend to show up. Once he got there at about 3:30, we only got four more each in about 4 hours. The lake sure is looking good though. Everywhere you go on the lake looks like perfect bass hold water. Was a little noisy on the lake today though as the scullers were out in force and the CDF chopper was practicing picking up buckets of water. Maybe why the fishing was a little slow?
    City: Ben lomond

Tips: Plastic worms in cover, which is not hard to find right now.

    Water Temp: 60

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched at about 3:00 pm. Talked to some guys that were just getting off the lake. They said they had been out since first thing in the morning and the bass fishing was real slow. They were telling the truth. I got only 5 fish and my buddy only got 2 to 2 #'s in 4 1/2 hours of fishing on plastic worms, all over the lake. Also hooked one little stocker trout trolling a gold Super Duper back to the ramp. Sure is nice to see the lake at full capacity though.
    City: Ben Lomond

Tips: It will only get better with stable weather.

    Water Temp: 64

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went float tubing on Saturday from 11:30AM-5PM. The lake was full and still on the rise. The wind blew hard (~25MPH). Anchored at one cove and caught 5 fish up-to 3 pounds. All but one were caught flipping/pitching zoom brush-hog in the middle of trees. The other one ate Carolina-rigged worm.
    City: Palo Alto

Tips: Fish are up shallow (8-10 feet of water) and close to dense cover.

    Water Temp: low 60's

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Well I thought the DFG was going to dump some trout this week, but I saw no signs that they did. I saw two people fishing and each had nothing. Also the cormorants were not hunting like they would be if there were trout for the taking. Tried drop-shotting for bass, but had no bites. The launch ramp has an anchor problem right now, so if you are planning on bringing your boat, you may want to reconsider until they fix it.
    City: San Jose

Tips: When the DFG stocks trout try throwing a small silver and orange kastmaster, last year I was catching both bass and trout on the same lure. It was awesome!

Keep in touch..I hope the water district doesnt draw this down to far to fast... Fish safe , catch and realease...Weigh them and remember to buy a camera. water proof one, 5 buck's. Zack

    Water Temp: 55

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched in near gail force winds. Lots of white caps and big waves. Went to the cove nearest the ramp to try to get out of the wind. Wind was still making it down the cove and making for bad fishing conditions. Still managed three to 1.5#. Got off after just an hour and a half. Just couldn't handle the winds. Good thing to cuz it started raining heavily a short time later.
    City: Ben Lomond

Tips: Don't go there when a storm is rolling in.

Report: great day..one thing that I noticed is that we were in the way .. A couple of people wanted to fish.. but..the crew master was telling me.. what direction, and dont drop my shoulder,, I guess when I drop the shoulder, the whole "crew" has to pick up, the one instant..
    City: Los Gatos.

Tips: Rower's.. As I am and fisherman..dont ever drop the shoulder and alway's stay away from the bank.. Never go between a fisherman and the bank...Lot's a lake... As I am an avid rower and fisherman.,, be respectfull of each of us...Tip of the day... Happy Easter and be safe... Los Gatos Rower, and freind.
