Report: Skater, did you complain to the club? (not that it'd make a difference I suspect)or the game warden? Maybe enough complaints against the club will have the game warden watchin them more closely.

Report: I strictly catch and release also. it actually kind of bums me out to see people keep large amounts of fish. what's the point? not smart to eat them anyways. I mainly fish for trout, but don't bother eating even the small freshly planted ones. If i want to eat trout, i just go down the road to valeriano's and get their non-polluted goods! all the fun is catching the fish and the more let go, the better chance at catching them again.
    City: los gatos

Tips: tell all the people keeping the fish at the perc ponds that they will get poisoned! check the pictures posted on the web for "kids fishing day" (forgot the url) everyone kept the fish. kids need to learn from better influences like the last guy who posted.

Report: Just following up the question from "ex-skater". I released all the
fish. So I couldn't tell you about the meat quality. Beside, I believe
catch-and-release is the way to preserve good fishing quality.

It's good that you raise an issue on mercury. Many months ago, I read an article on how safe the fish you caught (not sure from what magazine). It suggested that you could fish for fun, but if you wanted to eat fish, it's a better idea to get it from the market. (Note also that the article said the exception is on the newly planted trout. So trout fishermen don't have to be worried.)

PS. Ex-skater Thanks for your good words!

Report: just out of curiosity, you keep the limit (I assume) - so eat it though right? any worry of mercury? I'm just nervous about all these lakes around here. I'd be interested in any info on fish meat quality. nice to have people on the lake like you that socialize and are friendly to the other fishermen. in comparison, check the guy ranting on the loch lomond chat. hilarious and sad.

Report: Fished Lexington on Saturday. Good day. Got a limit! Here

Tips: The magic depth was 17 feet. From shore, just cast out toward deep water as far as you could, let your bait sink to the bottom, then work it back slowly. Hang to the bottom.
