    Report: FISHED FROM 12 NOON TILL 5PM NEAR DAM ON SHALE ROCK BANKS. BOATED 15 SLOT FISH AND MISSED AT LEAST TWICE THAT MANY. TEXAS RIGGED ZIPPER WORM FROM BANK TO 15' DEEP. BITES WERE ANYWHERE FROM PRESSURE TO HOLD ON!

    Tips: FISH SLOW AND KEEP CONTACT WITH THE BOTTOM.

    Report: Fished w/ two riends today rom 7am til 5pm. Fished mostly in Piney Creek. Boated a total o 16 bass and 2 trout. Biggest 5 went 11 pounds. Most ish caught on worms and shad pattern jerkbaits 12-24 eet deep.

    Tips: Still trying to put a solid pattern together. Today the best or us seemed to be 4 and 6" worms made by CCT Lures (McClure Crawdad and Purple Shad colors). Jerkbaits were black and silver w/ white.

    Report: Fished rom 6am to 2 pm starting in Piney Creek. Started with jerk bait and partner tried Zara Spook and then a spinnerbait. Nothing so partner switched to weightless white w/chart. tail luke and I split shot a 4" green weenie style worm. Partner boated several 13 to 15" spots while I managed one 14" and several rats. Moved down to Cottonwood around 11 and then inished o in Temperance. Bite slowed but still caught several more on lukes and 4" split shot worms. best ive weighed 7 lbs. 11 ozs.

    Report: ished barrett cove 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.. Lots o spawning ish tight to bank. Flipped hula Grubs Green/pepper on 3/4 oz. darter jighead. lots o' dinks. Moved to piney creek, lots o' dinks on silver cast master. 4 skinney trout on live medium minnows and tiny gold/black rapala's. Huge ish everywhere, but none in the boat. Tried everthing in tackle box. One really big ish on Watermelon Baby Brushhog (texas rigged) but broke o beore getting a look at ish. Moved to Cotton about 4 p.m.. Lots o big ish breaking topwater, but no takers.

    Report: Fished w/ the wie today rom noon until 5pm. Put 11 ish in the boat but missed at least double that. Even mix o spots and blacks. Average size but strong ighters. Fished entrance o cotton, barrett's and the point. First trip to McClure this year. Beautiul day and nice scenery. Overall, it was a great day.

    Tips: Fish ound at about 8-12t. Caught most ish on 4" worm (CCT Lures McClure Crawdad color). The ish hit ast so don't hesitate.

    Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

    Report: Fished rom 6:30 am to 1:30 pm. Started at Horse Shoe Bend with top water and spinner baits. Nothing so switched to split shot 4" green craw style worms and boated our in the next hal hour then the wind howled in at about 15 to 20 mph. Moved to the canyon and continued worming and catching ish. Averaged a ish every 10 to 15 minutes with most coming out o 10' to 15' depths. Never hooked into a good kicker ish and ended up weighing ive or 6 lbs. and 8 ozs. First place had 18+ lbs. with the big ish o 13 lbs. 1 oz. Said he caught it o a bed in Piney Creek using a jig and pig. Second place had about 15 lbs. with a 9 lb. big ish. Said they caught all their ish on Senkos and the 9 lber came rom Horse Shoe Bend near the loating bathroom.

    Tips: We caught ours split shotting 4" worms. Better ish coming rom areas with wood.

    Report: In regards to BPC's report. I have heard o a new worm on the market called a BPC. I have heard this worm is unbelievable. Do you happen to be the originator? 4 ish at 2 pounds each at McClure, now? Not bad!

    Report: The men o American Bass Anglers (www.ambassanglers,com) came to the ramps at Barrett Cove last weekend, only to discover that there were two other tournaments on this lake. With 60 additional boats on the water, the ish knew it was Saturday and the bite that we enjoyed preishing on Friday, all but shut down. Only one limit was brought to the scales by Ron Cormier and naturally that put him in the winning position. Big bass was just 2.14 lbs by Gene Carrow. But this is the start o our year and or most o us, we will set this one aside and tell ourselves "Oh well, that is ishing in January." February brings us home to the Delta. AmBass meets in the Easy Bay, we ish all over Northern Caliornia, so i you are interest in joining a club with quality people and a love o ishing, we have a ew slots open or new members.     Report: I had an itch to get on the water and a ree day on Friday, so I called a riend at the last minute to see i he wanted to join me on a road trip to McClure since we would be ishing a club tournament with the American Bass Anglers (www.ambassanglers.com)later this month. I had not been to the lake beore, but he told me that the lake was down about 100' and based on pulling resh grass on dartheads, the lake is on the rise. We didn't get to the water until about noon. We hit the backs o coves and near the damn with limited success, picking up a ew ish on dartheaded butler worms in 15'. We caught quality ish, but the bite was slow. The people we talked to also had a tough bite. While the bite was slow, I liked the lake a lot and look orward to getting back on it or the Tournament.     Report: Started in Piney Creek area & ended up,up river...Caught 16 Spots,most were 13-14 1/2 in...Fish were caught on Texas riggs,drop shot & skirted grubs..6 in worms & a varity o colors...We ished rom 7 am to 12:30 pm..all caught in deep water...

    Report: Fished main lake points 20'+, split-shotting 4" brown worms. Slow, Slow, Slow. Boated about 10 ish with biggest going 2lbs.Got a couple o small keepers spooning rocks 30-40'. Try reaction bite in coves early and than move out to deep points and slow down when the sun hits the water.

    Report: The water has turned and it is nice and cool and clear and the ish have turned on. My buddie ished the lake the night o the 11th. and morning o the 12th. and caught 65 ish total. The boat ramp is way down but now is the time or some great ishing.

    Tips: Most ish caught on black ASSALT jig with black/red lake YAMAMOTO double tail grub trailer. Big black worms and 4 and 6 inch summer moss variety worms also producing.     Report: Started ishing at 7:45pm and quit at 10:45pm. Started with topwater, not much action. Moved to main body points throwing 11" black/red worms. 7 ish boated all in the slot. Had a ew good ones hit that never made it to the boat.

    Report: Don't ish the lakes much, but needed a break rom the Delta(hasn't been kind to me the last couple o weeks)I took my wie, & my tourney partner took my son.Launched rom Barrets @ 5:45, & ran to McClure pt. Started with topwater(Rico, Pop-R, & buzzbaits). We boated about 7 or 8, with 2 L.M. over the slot.Shot across the lake when the sun hit the water, & ished shade looking or more topwater...no takers. Wie had 4-14 1/2" spots on drop shot Aarons Magic FX. I picked up the Yamamoto grub in 208 T-rigged, & stuck some more 14"+ ish. Worked down the bank with a 1/2oz jig & picked up 2 more L.M. over the slot & several spots to just under 15".Partner and son boated another over the slot L.M. & several more spots on drop shot.Went to the narrows, or more 14"+ spots on a variety o baits(drop shot & jigs).O the water at 2:00 with over 30 ish between the 2 boats, & 5 L.M. rom 1 3/4- 2 1/2#

    Tips: Most ish were on steep main lake structure(bigger rock). Caught them on everything thrown but the rip bait today.

    Report: Fished rom 6am to noon...Started with top water,spinners & Cranks...nothing...caught 7 bass rom 13 1/2 in to 17 in...One on a skirted grub,rest came on worms rom 15 to 30 t deep..Shad must be on top,didn't mark any...Fished Temp. creek area & river area.

    Report: Customers have been reporting good ishing in the Cottonwood area. Reports o quality ish being caught on buzzbaits in the early morning right o the banks. Spinnerbaits are also working well in the aternoon ished in the mudlines. White or shad pattern are the best.
