Started morning w/top water, Shad Rap, blade, & pig n jig but did not boat 1st ish until 8:30 am & only ater I switched to split shot 4" grn. weenie. It was a chunky 14 1/2 incher. My wie boated the 2nd ish about 1/2 hr. later, a 12 incher, split shotting a 4" grn. weenie w/chatruese tail. An hour later I boated another 14 1/2 incher then it took another 3 hrs. beore I boated my 3rd and last ish or the day a 15" largemouth on a split shot curlytail purple ghost. We did get to see a big ish, an 8 lb. black chasing a 10" trout in a shallow cove. Did try cranking & spooning throughout the day but no luck.

Report: Fri. morn. let McClure Pt. around 6:30. Fished mostlyparts south o there. Caught ish 1# to 4# using Shad rap,Green Weenie, and (wh/char) spinners around islands. Ater 10 AM NOTHING. Weather was great, sun was high and a breeze was welcomed. Coves and backwater held only dinks.

Tips: water level is low and dropping. Underwater islands aren'talways where you expect them to be. The lake could be dangerous i you take too many chances. More than once, I was surprised.

    Water Temp: 80+

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Tough ishing or June. Had a club deal out there and only 4 or 5 limits out o almost 20 olks ished. Most olks came in with 2 or 3 keepers (we use the card system, so 13+"ers were keepers). Best bite seems to be up river past the bridge on grubs. The other pattern that was catching some ish were inding wind blown points and ish reaction baits on them. Otherwise, it was slow, slow slow ... Was HOT too.Ninja

Few on a Sammy, most on a Super Fluke. Ater sun started coming up, ishing the shadows seemed to be the key. Large rock banks that dropped o deep real quick. No plastics bite, had to make 'em bite with the Fluke. Just learning the lake, so could have probably done better.
