    Report: My wie and I ished up river and in the canyon till 1:30pm. We started with a zara spook and a pop-r and caught ive in 20 min, all spots 1.8 or so. We caught more in the small cuts with grass. We also used 4" worms poured by my dad, and caught 10-12 more. Some o those spots were spitting up baby bluegill (light brown color). Fish are still spawning, I did a little sightishing and caught 2.

    Tips: 4" worms brown and topwater in the morning

    Report: Went to McClure or the irst time in two years. Got there about 6:15, so missed irst light. Tried topwater, nothing. Tried cranking, nothing. Figured we would go to plastics.......Nothing. Fish were suspended. Tried a Fluke and got nailed a couple o times. Slowed it down and caught two ish right away. Partner tied one on and missed a ish once, then it came back and missed it again and we both saw it, BIG ish. Came back to the spot about 1/2 hour later. Partner throws in there, huge "shark" shadow comes out and inhails it, ish on!!! Got it in, went 6 pnds 12 onc. His new big ish. Went to a marina where they took a picture or them and one or us 'cause we orgot the camera at home. Only caught about 8 more ish rom 1 1/2 to 2 pounds ater that. Called it a day around 1:00.

    Tips: Fish big boulders with shad imitations. Work slow in the shadows. Keep inding shadows as the sun passes. Let 'em eat it good beore setting the hook.

    Report: Fished rom 7am to 12:30pm..Took my 5 yr old grandson,caught app 15 bass.Fish were caught on sinko's & tube baits rom 2t deep too 15t.Had 2 blacks over the slot,most o them were in the slot limit.My grandson did catch two on the sinko's,he threw a crankbait most o the time & thought he was getting a hit on ever cast.

    Report: Started ishing app 6:30am Main lake area,caught one 14 in on a craw colored crank & a ew on worms.Went into Piney cr. caught ish on worms their too.Fished the river area & caught more ish.I lost count at 20 & i belive that most o the ish were blacks.All ish came out o 2 to 15 t o water & only 4 or 5 looked too have eggs.Most o the ish were 13in too 2 1/4 lbs.WE quit at 1:30 pm...

    Report: Fought the wind and rain all day but did o.k. Manged 15 ish on 4" green weanies. Missed alot o ish also. Had about a third o the ish over the slot. All seemed to be males moving up.

    Report: Fished rom 7am too 2:45pm,small coves o the main lake area.Cold,wind & rain..Caught 30,35 ish,about 50,50 on the spots & blacks.All ish were caught on plastic's,worms,tube bait,sinko's & brush hogs rom 3t too app 15t.most o the ish were 13in too 15 1/2 in.

    Tips: Fish grass & wood,slow..the smallest weight you can throw..

    Report: Fished rom 6am too 1:30pm.Caught app 25 spots & blacks..We spent the irst 45 min. throwing cranks,top water & jerk bait..NOTHING...Changed too worms & tube baites,caught ish rom the ramp too the dam area,they were caught ron 5 t too 25 t deep.Seven ish over the slot,most o them were rom 13in too 15in.Six in worms,color didn't matter.Lots o missed pickups,the males are cleaning house(spots).They will p/u the bait by the tail too move it o their beds.

    Report: Fished rom daybreak too 3pm.Caught app.20 bass,most were rom 13in too 15 1/2 in....All ish came on tubes & worms rom 2 to 20 t deep.Has one boil on a top water bait..We isher Horse shoe & river area.Most o the ish came o wood,in 2 t o water by sharp drop os.

    Report: started o going south rom barrett cove. ound ish on big rock areas. rip clown rouge. went to river area just past ramen bay. had excellent results on same. 11:00ish splitshot blue witchs tit or a ew more. air temp was in the mid 80s

    Report: Fished rom 10 till 2 today. Caught 20 to 30 twitching and ripping a rapala. Only three were over 15".

    Report: Fished the river area rom 6am to 2pm,caught 10 ish rom 10in too 151/2in...One ish on a crankbait,two on a tube & the rest came on worms.lost one,pulled drag until it broke o.Fish were caught rom 18 to 40 t deep..No more then two ish on the same color,sot bites..

    Report: WENT FISHING WITH FATHER IN LAW TODAY, LAUNCHED AT 11:00 A.M. STARTED IN THE CANYON NARROWS WITH 4 INCH 082 RED FLAKE WORM AND FISHED IT ALL DAY. CAUGHT 58 FISH BETWEEN THE 2 OF US, IN 2 TO 15 FT. OF WATER, LITE BITE TODAY FISH WOULD PICK UP THE BAIT AND COME OUT TO THE BOAT WITH IT, WE DIDNT EVEN KNOW MOST OF THE FISH WERE THERE UNTIL WE SAW OUR LINE MOVING. BIG FISH WAS 2.25, ABOUT 25% OF FISH WERE BLACKS WITH THE REST THOSE FUN FIGHTING SPOTTS. HEADED FOR THE MARINA AT 4:45.

    Tips: LET THE BAIT SIT FOR 10 TO 15 SECONDS AFTER THE CAST BEFORE MOVING IT, SEEMS MOST FISH CAME IN THAT TIME. THIS TIME OF YEAR IS VERY IMPOTANT TO OUR FISH POPULATION SO CATCH AND RELEASE IS A MUST.LET THE FISH GO WHERE YOU CAUGHT THEM AND DONT TRASNSPORT THEM ALL OVER THE LAKE BEFORE RELEASING THEM. HAVE FUN AND REMEMBER THE SUNSCREEN!

    Report: Decided to see i the ish had come up yet because o the ull moon. Action only slightly better than last month. Caught a ew nice spots on steep banks SLOOOW workin a insse worm. Got Cloudy/Foggy/Windy around 10 am. and everything just plain ol' shut down..... Couldn't get a sni ater that. Fish are staging but I dont think they are sure i they wanna move up yet......

    Report: My wie & I ished McClure today, or tried to. Rain, wind, & more o the same until our hands were so cold we had trouble changing baits. Finally packed it up at 10:30 am. We launched rom Barretts & got to Horse Shoe Bend area about 7 am. Wie hooked a 12 1/2" ten minutes later on a craw pattern worm amber w/chartruese claws. Ten minutes later it was my turn & I hooked a 12" w/brown rod strainer jig and brown pork. Only a couple o misses ater that so with the bilge pump on & our rain jacket hoods cinched tight we headed in to the warmth o the truck.

    Report: 7 a.m. started ishing main points in the Horse Shoe Bend area. 1st ish on at 7:15 w/a brown & brown pig & pork in 10' o water. Had a limit by 10 a.m..(5 ish) Headed up to the river channel & culled 2 or a 5 ish limit o 7 lbs. 4 ozs. with a 2 lb. 4 oz. big ish. 1/2 o the limit caught on pig & pork & other hal came o o 4 to 5" worms or leeches in a shad type color.

    Tips: Jig n pig or shad colored worms, split shot, but which ever you choose ish it slowwww!

    Report: Started o with a crankbait and irst cast I caught a trout. One hit on a jerkbait. One 13" spot on a 4 inch worm, split shot rig. My partner missed one on a crankbait also. We had a couple more bites and let at 1pm. Nothing on spoons, tubes (gitzits), jigs.

    Tips: Try about 15-25t deep early morning crankbait or jerkbait

    Report: Fished rom 9 to 11. Not much. Only cought 2. 12 & 14in. Both on a green and brown worm w/ a 1/4oz. weight. Both at the mouth o Bagby in the trees.

    Report: Fished club tourney (CVBC)started and inished on main lake, no takers. Spent most o the day up river ishing points and pockets, shaking worms and dropshotting. I got three keepers, and the backseater got one. From 20'-50' eet. Still very slow. Ran into Steve Green, who said they hadn't gotten as much rain as we in the Bay area during the last storm. By the way, thanks, I got a good keeper rom your advice.
