    Water Temp: 50-53

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: We had a 20 boat tournament on presidents day with 5 fish limits for 18 of 20. Overall a tough day with big fish at only 3 pounds. The lake was hammered with two big tournaments the two days prior. Some boats caught as many as 25 fish, but all were between 12-15 inches as most of the bigger fish were possibly spooked over the previous weeks fishing traffic.
    City: Riverbank

Tips: Watermelon colored worms with red flakes or red colored worms with gold flakes seem to work good in this lake.

Report: Launched Tuttletown at 7:15, headed out to the islands behind the visitor center. Wind was up abit as the dropshot hit the water, pretty slow with only 2 fish coming up for a visit after being fooled on oxblood colored worms tied up 18" from the weight. Hit the north side to get some sun and get out of the wind with no results. headed down past Mormon and pulled 3 more out, one puking a ton of small shiney shad and small minnows with some orange craw legs floating in the mix. headed back in at noon and hit Camacho's in downtown Sonora for a burrito before heading back to work.

Threw the obligitory white buzzbait, one ton rig, and c-rig green pumpkin brushhog without any bites
    City: Sonora, CA

Tips: drop shot 25-40 ft was the only thing working for us. 1/8 oz more on the weight required to keep bottom contact

Report: I launched early and fished up the river arm from 49 bridge up. Caught most of my fish on points looking for ledges and spots where mud ran down shail rock. Fish are still posting up on pillons under bridges, caught some good size SMBs. Drop shot was producing the most fish, 5 1/2" Hologram shad and salt pepper (robos) seems to be what they are liking. Fish seemed picky but there are tons of fish in this lake! Tight lines and smiles
    City: Livermore

Tips: D.S robos w/ short leader, Shad colored flukes
Get out early before wind picks up

Report: Started late around 8am so boat traffic was already annoying. Fished from the 49bridge to past the second bridge. Caught a mix of spots and largies, but nothing big and the action was kinda slow compared to other days. Did bring home a limit of crappie again once I found a school of them, only took me 20 minutes to catch my crappie limit once I found that school. The shorelines got beat up bad today up river.
    City: manteca

Tips: Avoid weekends and get there early before the wakeboarders wake up. Drop-shot roboworms(oxblood, prism shad, baby bluegill, greenie), spinnerbait, gitzit tubes(green w/red flk, saltnpepper), and panfish tubes(blk/chrt, pink/chrt, chrt). Anywhere from 5ft down to 25 feet maybe even deeper.

Report: Great day out on the lake. Me and my buddy were out on the water by 4:30 am. Early bite was slow but it really picked up around 6 to 8. My friend caught most of his fish on a white and grey spiner bait, pulled a nice 3.5 pounder off a wacky riged sinko. I pulled all my fish with a rapala crank bait including a 11.6 pound catfish (Man that sucker put up a fight) caught most fish on the north side of the lake off of rocky points, also found alot of fish in shade covered trees.
    City: Livemore

Tips: Get on the water early to avoid water skiers and to beat the scorching heat!!!

Report: had a awesome day most of our bass were small but we kept one bass that was about 2 pounds, and I lost one that was about 3 pounds we pretty much caught all types of bass largemouth, spotted, and smaalmouth.bluegill action was great too and we caught many keeper bluegills.
    City: vally springs

Tips: all bass were caught on spinnerbaits, and the best lure was a green twintail grub.spinnerbaits were retrived fast most of the bass came up to 2-4 feet water on the spinnerbait.green twintail grubs caugt most fish fish them with a dart head and let them sink then retrive them slow.bluegill were all caught on night crawlers

    Water Temp: 80

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Started bass fishing around 10am and finished at 3pm. Caught many keeper size spots with the largest around 4lb. Fished up river. Fish are very aggressive and active. Dropshot, spinnerbait, and chrt crappie tube. Caught many crappie but nothing worth keeping to eat.
    City: Manteca

Tips: Deep dropoffs and rocks were the key. Bass caught in 10-20ft water with dropshot using oxlbood or prism shad robos and a little shallower with spinnerbait. But the fish moved up shallower if rocks/boulders are present. Fish the spinnerbait fast, get the blades going and try a trailer hook.

    Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: The off-the-hook topwater bite that was present during the week slowed down alot. fish had moved out to 14-18'. green pumpkin or MM3's were the color for plastics, and jigs in some combo of brown, orange, green pumpkin and/or cinnimon seemed to produce. we used precision jigs w/arkie heads and brown skirts paired with yamamoto twin tail grubs in green pumpki/black flake (297 i think...). jig bite was abit frustrating with either soft pickups or the fish dropping it quick. we were never able to figure out what the required hookset was. switched up to senkos in the afternoon. wind started to blow whitecaps onto the main lake body around 11am, so we headed for the coves. lots of dinks, biggest was just under 3lbs. fun day with full sun up high
    City: Sonora

Tips: find the rockpiles in 16' and get ready to rip 'em

    Water Temp: 68

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Made the mistake of going fishing on Memorial Day weekend because I hadnt been fishing in a week. Bass in the morning were chasing shad and busting the surface everywhere in the first cove I was in. Over a hundred crappie caught but no extra large ones, still kept a limit. Bass slowed down in the afternoon when boat traffic picked up. Fished topwater and dropshot in the morning and switched to drop-shot robos and spinnerbait later. Largest fish was a 4lb spot on drop shot at 20ft.
    City: manteca

Tips: Avoid the crowd, fish during the week. Bass on topwater/dropshot ealry and dropshot/spinner later on. Crappie on panfish tubes and dropshot.
Cant really say exactly where fish are located because the bass were from shore related to cover out to about 60 yards in the open water busting shad.

    Water Temp: ???gettin warm

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Tried for crappie again and found around a hundred again but did not catch any quality crappie so I did not keep any. Bass caught all day and are all along the shoreline. Fished panfish tubes, drop shot roboworms, and zara pups for most of the day. Topwater is fun but the larger fish did not cooperate with me but I'm sure others are having luck with catching them. Also fished spinnerbait and a frog with some results. Largest bass was about 3lbs, in the end it was a fun day on the lake again.
    City: manteca

Tips: Take kids and friends who have never fished on this lake because they are gaurenteed to have fun catching a lot of fish. Some of the fish seem to move deeper to around 15ft in the afternoon but still bite zara pups or spooks while some are still along the shore.

Report: Fished from noon to 5 pm. Used 5/8 oz white tandem spinner bait all day. Caught and released 75 plus fish, 5lb and a 3lb were the largest fish. Worked the shore line. Finding the best fish in log jams and rock piles. Fished the spinner at a very fast speed never letting it get more than 2 feet below the surface. If I did not get a strike with in the first 10 feet I brought it back to the boat as fast a possible. There are Bass in the shallow water.
    City: arnold

Tips: Keep the bait in the strike zone. If you don't get a hit right away, reel it in as fast as you can and get it back in the zone. I like spinner baits because you can cover a lot of area in a short amount of time.

    Water Temp: 73-78F

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished from about 6am until 3pm. We caught over 100 spotted bass each. The fish were from the bank out to maybe 10'. Didn't much matter what kind of bank it was..rock, mud, chunk, grass, steep, shallow point, whatever. Caught fish on dartheads, 128 pointers, brush hogs, 7" senkos, beavers, and dropshot.
We got our better fish on the 128, beaver, and dropshot.
Lots of 2 pound fish with a few 3 pounders.
Larger bass could be seen under the bluegill near boulders and brush. Out of all the bass we caught, maybe 25 were over 13".
    City: Santa Rosa

Tips: If you want to take a kid fishin, NOW IS THE TIME! There are so many fish in the shallows it would be almost impossible not to catch fish. Dartheads in 1/32 and 1/16 4" roboworm CT with #4 line.
