    Report: Fished the Dinasaur Point area rom 7 - 2:30. Big lake is almost to its capacity. Not one ish caught by any bankies that I talked to and very ew (small ones) by boaters. Very non-productive day or ishing overall.

    Report: trolled riday morning in the wind. got 1 each @ 10 and 11 #s and one shortie. we lost a ew others. what a blast on lite tackle. would have limited out, but the wind made it hard to maintain trolling speed. anybody ever catch any kokes out o this lake?? they planted a whole bunch 2 years ago. i they survived the stripers they might be catchable size by now.kevin 'padrino'

    Report: Fished Friday 2/28 rom 7:30 to 2:30. Fishing was really slow rom the bank but the ish that were caught were big. I caught my 1 and only ish on a rattle trap at about 8:15 Am and it was 15 to 16 pounds. I had brought 2 poles the pole I expected to catch a nice ish on (9 ooter with shimono 5000 reel) never got a bite all day. The ish I caught the 15+ pound ish on was a little 6.5 ooter with a shimono 2000 bass reel on it that had 8 pond test on it. What a ight, it took me at least 15 to 20 minutes to get this ish in. What a blast. I was ishing dinasour point.

    Report: 2nd Time! Fished Tue. with Frank & Lance rom Sacromento and had a wonderul day. Started a bit windy then got oggy then it was summer time!     Report: Fished the big lake on Fri and Sat. Found early limits to 18#s both days. All ish were caught on trolled bait 30-35 eet deep.Fished Lone Oak Bay both days and caught several other ish each day, all released to ight again. People were catching ish rom the bank as while others on broken backs. One man said he caught a six ish limit throwing plugs to the Dam.     Report: ished san luis today, it was real rough early (around 7). tried by the levy, but was too rough. then it calmed down and was a gorgeous day. we trolled rom dino pt to quien sabe point and up towards the creek. scored 8 ish, 2 @ 12#s (caught by the beginner o course). were caught @ 25-35' on trolled bait.

    Report: My son and i ished the dam side o Goose-neck,8am till 5pm w/anchovies and sardine illets. We had 8 good hits between us but could not hook-up(#*&^^+@$). A large group o asians had 14 poles out,all w/rozen shad. We watched all day as they brought in a total o 12 stripers rom 6 to 20 pounds. We also saw 2 big ish caught o the point. What a day!!! as I elt like I orgot how to ish(LOL). Think we saw Just-Fishin as he was leaving the dock? The weather was beautiul,and we got lots o ino.on lure ishing at dark, should be good by next month.

    Report: This is a report or the ast 4 days, all rom the big lake San Luis. I ished r,sa,su,mo. and it seemed to get better each day.Fri I had 2very nice people romway down south LA area Ken and Jan Had 5 ish with a 15 lb ish topping the limit. All slow rollin shad.Sat had 2 nice people rom San Jose, Don and Sandy, we managed to limit by 9am with a couple o 12lb ish topping the limit. all slow rollin shadSunday the 2 nice people rom LA Ken and Jan (lucky they were camping over) decided to return or a second bout and again had a couple o 12 lb ish topping that days limit Again all slow rollin shad.Monday Took a riend Jim and his ather and BOOM! My best ish since salmon season a 30pounder, also had 5 nice ish to make a nice limit.     Report: Fished the big lake again today 02-11 with good success.Fished with Mrs Justish-n, Caught lots o ish mostly small, However did have a our ish limit rom just a keeper to 12lbs. Ran out o bait at 1pm and called it a day. Trolled anchovies and shad slow rolling, must have a good roll or no bite! smaller ish seemed to like shad better but did catch my second largest on shad 7-8lbs. ish were 25-50 eet deep, biggest came rom 28t. Trolled no certian area, a stright line around the lake, est area seemed to be around Dinashor Piont in just over 100t o water, Other anglers reported getting ish on broken backs and Big Mac's behind leadcore 7-8 colors deep.     Tips: Slow Roll, Make sure you have a good roll, I its not rolling, or i its spinning ast you may not get bit! Fast troll with plugs!

    Report: Fished the big lake today, Had a very good day with two limits by 8:30 am! Caught 7 ish total or the day, all were keepers ranging rom 1 just a keeper to 12lbs, had two nice ish over 10 lbs. ish were all caught slow rolling anchovies 35-40 eet deep in water rom 55 to 160t deep. the bite was over by 10 am. The bite seem to be slow or the most part or most anglers but did see a ew ish being cleaned mostly caught on anchovies with a ew taken trolling and with minnows.Trip still open as weather holdsjohn@justish-n 209 5298364Bass, Stripers, Trout, Salmon

    Report: Fished the big lake again ater almost a week o. Found a slow bite still on Minnows and anchovies, with the cut bait being the most productive at this time. Fish still seem to be in 30-40 t deep and scattered rom Lone oak bay to the trash racks. Had 5 ish or the day and or the most all were small, all keepers but small, one 10 lbs.     Report: Fished Saturday three people in the boat two rods each. Started out at 7:00am at the rock wall near Romero Point. Nothing! Moved to the dam at 12:00am. Caught one trolling at 12:30am at 6bls.. caught second one while driting at 2:00pm at 12lbs. Fish appear to be at about 20 t.

    Tips: Live minnows on a 6t. stringer seam to work the best. Just need to be patient.

    Report: Fish big lake on Sunday, trolled almost all day with the hope o picking up some bigger ish, didn't happen and had only one ish 8lbs and several smaller one's. Went to Jumbo Minnows (rom Lucky Larry's) Good bait but no ish, Gave up early! some ish being caught in Lone creek on cut bait, some boats with 1 or 2 ish, one boat had 5 ish and caught # 6 as we baited up. Watched A bank isherman catch a couple nice ish by the Hwy on the north side.     Tips: Fish slow! island tops 35-50 t deep, keep tring dierent times o day, look or ish on deep side o islands, they move up and down. Get some big baits rom Lucky Larry's, keep them lively!or use cut bait and wait them out!Good Luck!

    Report: Fished big lake today Wed.1-15 had 2 nice ish 11-12 lbs on nice big jumbo minnows rom Lucky Larrys in Santa Nella, 827-1522. The biggest baits worked best! Its slow and its getting slower,Full Moon near, but ish are still showing and it takes a real good lively bait to get them to bite. Very little pressure on lake today, some ish caught in creeks and on points, locate ish and work them slow. Lake is still coming up ast and ish are scattering.     Report: Fished big lake on Monday Very little pressure? Clear as a bell! No og on the lake but plenty on the way!! Bite continues at a slower pace, Trollers seem to be getting ish later in the day. cut bait and Minnows still working well.     Report: Fished big lake on 1-9 oggy! 7 bites all day with minnows LOST 5 ish? caught only 2 small ish 1 8lbs and 1 6lbs. Its great to let the little ones catch the ish and I'll do it every day! but they need to be big enough or the ish! Lucky when you get small ish sometimes. Anyway bite seemed to be better early trolling as boats that were seem to be catching more ish and limited out every early as well, broken backs, and bombers were doing the trick. ish are becoming schattered as the lake continues to raise about 2t per day. good luck!(May be trolling on uture trips)john@justish-n.com 209 5298363 Trips still open--(Weather?)
