Water Temp: 47-48
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished for 2 days in pouring rain and 20+ wind and rising muddy water. The lake came up 4 feet on Sunday. I threw everything at them and only caught two fish on Sunday. Both were caught on a senko on a bridge piling. I lost one on a spinnerbait and one on a crankbait up the Sac. On Monday more of the same with 4 fish off the same piling. The lake is fishing tough right now or I'm doing something wrong.
Tips: Stay home till the weather breaks.

Water Temp: 49 - 51
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished Saturday and Sunday. Most fish on Saturday were in 25-35 feet of water off of rocky points with flooded timber. Most fish came on 1/2 ounce football jigs with a hula grub. Several were caught on darterheads and two on a spinnerbait. Caught around 20-25 fish between two people, mostly spots with a few smallies. Sunday was stormy, but the fish were happy to eat. Found a gradual shelf adjacent to deep water where the fish were activly feeding. Caught 7 fish in 30 minutes, all on the jig. Only fished for 2 1/2 hours on Sunday, but managed 9 fish between the two of us.
City: SacramentoTips: Hula grub! just slowely drag the jig. If you find a spot where fish are holding, work up and down with a jig or darterhead. Also, the lake is coming up fast. The water came up several feet in the 3 hours we were on the lake on Sunday.

Water Temp: 46-50
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished small club tournament Saturday. Very tough bite. All fish were caught on main lake chunk rock points in 15-30 feet. No takers on swim baits, one on rip bait the rest on worms. My take is that the fish are scattered due to the bait fish starting to scatter.
Tips: Fish main lake since the creeks are staring to get murky due to the rain. I have heard of some swimbait fish being caught but we couldn't make it happen, stick with the worms for bites in tough conditions.

Water Temp: 49.7-50.1
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Just fished tournament at Shasta. Tough bite in post front conditions but still managed 2nd place weight (9.91 lbs.). Fish were holding in 35 ft. but would move up to about 10 ft once water warmed. Certainly don't overlook the shallow bite first thing in the morning in low light conditions although it didn't play out well for us on tourney day. Run points. About ramps because of low water situation... Jones Valley is in decent shape and so is Centimude. Jones Valley has no dock. Packers is a no go.
City: NevadaTips: Run points but fish them slow.

Report: Just got back from a two day trip with two fisherman. Day one we caught 18 fish between us. Today they were more interested in plastic than minnows?? Only 1/2 were on minnows. Day two was a better day with a total of 35 fish, including one 5-lbs and another 3-lbs on a spinnerbait. Most fish today were on minnows. Only seven were on plastic or the spinner bait. Very windy today!!!

Day 2, we caught 25 fish, All but 4 were on minnows again. The four were on sweet beavers. Tried spinner baits, senkos, flukes, and money minnow. They want the real thing right now, not rubber.

Report: Trolling up the McCloud Arm @ 3-4 mph. No luck with the Megabait minnow or Cripplelure. The Brass Kastmaster never fails, but a Krocodile Spoon Wobbler seemed to be the ticket, netting 7 good size salmon in a few hours.

Report: I have an idea! why dont we use this page as a fishing report and not a hate blog! sure the lake is down. but what are we going to do about it? thats right nothing! if you want to complain get a my space page. and if i had to guess everyone that is upset is more than likely retired. enough of that, fishing was average. we boated 13 bass in 3 hrs. green tubes, threw to shore and brought it back in to 15-25 feet of water. nothing to fancy.

Report: MR. Anderson, randy perfectly described the conditions at cetimundi this morning. i put in at 8AM and didn't use the crappy little ramp that was there then. when i came back at 445PM a new float was in as you described. Randy told the truth, you failed to mention the other piece of crap that was there. Rady's statement was spot on. you do a diservice to the customers who make it possible for you to have an income.

Report: Seems it is too much to ask for.."Do what you get paid to do"..this float sitiation is just like all the rest of the vendor/Government contracts.. they get hooked up...then do nothing for their money we pay them to exist..We, all of us who bought passes for 08 got screwed..now looks like 09 we could get another sturdy Rogering..shoot Oroville is extending their ramps and they want their fisherman to have access...they use the money for good not greed...I have sent money in for my 09 pass..if they don't keep the floats and ramps usable for the purpose intended for what they charge us I will file a claim in small claims court.
City: ReddinTips: Let's all be nice to them...Let's all hold them accountable...Let's all have a Merry Christmas..

Report: shasta recreation has sent out the 2009 ramp pass letters, they put in a float at centimudi, its quite an affair, its 4ft wide about 15 ft long and if you tie up one boat thats the end of its usefulness. don't step on it unless you can jump from shore and land in the middle, it will drop you into the lake. 27 vehicles using the facility this am, three had passes, the others did not so no sense in paying for the use when nobody else does. we are getting ripped off, they could have put something in months ago, they sent their bills out and had to de something. do not buy a ramp pass for 2009, they willl not do what they are supposed to do. The forest service needs to find a vendor who will do what they are paid to do. watch out when you attempt to use the float at centimudi. you might end up swimming

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: My cousin and I Launched the boat at centimude boat ramp and noticed that the shad were balled up all around us so we ended up chasing them around throwing white spinner baits and super spooks and did great, Most fish were quality size and the people from the bank were also doing good for rainbows, silvers, and bass.... Nows the time to hit it so have fun and good luck.
City: Shasta LakeTips: I talked to a few guys on the bank taking frozen shad with a bobber about 4-5 ft and they were producing good fish also by throwng it into the balls of shad.
