Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: On the water at 2:00 pm, went to large cove past pt. west of Digger Bay. Started cranking with Rapala's had 8 fish to 1 1/2 lbs about 45 min. We even caught 2 fat trout in cove, about 6 more smallies & spots in next hr. Decided to troll lures back to marina and dam area. Released all bass but picked up another 7 trout to 3 lbs on Fat raps, shad raps and countdowns. The hot area was between dam to marina. Lures trolled behind boat about 100' ft. Bass were on pts 5 to 10 ft deep. Trout were a nice bonus for dinner.
City: S.S.F.Tips: Blue chrome, silver countdowns first 8 bass, then we used crawdad and chartruse white fatraps and shad raps that caught 7 trout and another dozen bass. Trolled the lures from 30 to 150 ft areas, no down riggers just the lures. Action packed 4 hrs. Next day in rain bass chasing bait in coves, same lures about 14 bass t0 2 lbs and 5 trout to 4 lbs. bass plugging, trout slammed lures trolled and lost a big one . Fish took lure to deep water and popped the line.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: My buddy and I fished the pitt and found lots of runts. There was bait everywhere, especially at back of the creek. Little runts were chasing 3/4 in. baitfish everywhere. The water would turn into bubbles or foam from all the activity. It was a sight to see! If you want to use up some old plastics, head to the pitt. Use ultra light tackle and have some fun. Get rid of your old plastics.
City: san mateoTips: Try top water baits, small swim baits, grubs and jerk baits.

Water Temp: 68 to 72
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched from Bridge Bay. Seemed the place to be for a user friendly ramp. Fished 7 am to about 4 pm. Could have caught too many fish to count, probably boated about 40 or 50 then moved on searching for larger models. Top water, reaction bite, jigs, dartheads, all worked well. Top water was mainly a morning event. Largest spot at 3 lbs and we caught a few smallies. Fished the Pit and the McLeod. Fish are stuffed with small 3/4 inch shad so the small imitations work well
City: McKinleyville, CATips: Look for birds and bait and have fun. Call the USFS for more advice on usable ramps. I think Centimundi may be functional or at least that is what USFS told me last Friday.
