Report: LAUNCHED AT JONES VALLEY 10:30 SUNDAY,PARKING WAS OVER FLOW,SO THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE OUT THERE FISHING,NOT SO MANY WAVE BOARDERS,WENT UP TO ARBUCKLE FLATS.NO BAIT FISH ON THE SURFACE,TRYED ALL THE STUFF ,TOP WATER NO TAKERS ,AT THAT TIME OF DAY.WENT TO SMALL PLASTIC MINNOWS,AND GOT ALOT OR FISH BUT THEY WERE SMALLER THAN WE WERE LOOKING FOR ,SWITCHED TO SPOONS AROND THE TREES .MUCH BIGER FISH ALONG WITH SOME SMALL ONE'S,NOT ALL THE TREES HAD FISH,U HAVE TO DO SOME FISHING,TILL U FIND OUT WERE THEY ARE.THEN ITS GOOD FOR ABOUT 4-5 FISH EACH TREE,TAKE A KID . WE CAUGHT 30-40 EACH
City: REDDINGTips: MY TIP WOULD BE START IN THE 25-35 FOOT RANGE,THE TREES DIDNT HAVE TO BE ON POINTS,BUT WE FOUND THEY WERE IN THE SHADY BANK.ALSO I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE A LURE RETRIEVER AS YOU WILL BE HUNGE UP ALL DAY.BUT WE ONLY LOST A FEW LURES WITH A HOUND DOG KNOOKER.I DONT KNOW WHO SELLS THESE KNOOKERS BESIDES BASS MAG-BUT U CAN MAKE YOUR OWN,USE A SHOWER CURTION HOOK THE KIND U CAN OPEN AND CLOSE,A OLD REEL WITH HEAVY LINE OR SMALL CORD,SOME KIND OF HEAVY WEIGHT,TIE THEM ON CLOSE TO EACH OTHER,.I SOME TIMES BUT ON A SMALL RAGE ON THE SHOWER HOOK,AS IT WILL SNAG YOUR HOOK ON THE BOTTOM OR IN THE TREE.U SHOULD TRY TO GET STRATE OVER YOUR LURE AND OPEN THE SHOWER HOOK ON YOUR LINE CLOSE IT AND DROP THE HOOK AND WEIGHT DOWN YOUR LINE ,WHILE HOLDING YOUR FISHING LINE IN ONE HAND AND THE KNOOKER LINE IN THE OTHER YOU WILL FEEL IT HIT YOUR LURE ,SHAKE IT UP AND DOWN ,AND START SAVING YOU MONEY RIGHT AWAY,THOSE SPOONS COST A COUPLE BUCKS EACH,OH IT WORKS ON ALL SNAGS,MOST OF THE TIME ,U WILL THANK ME EVERY TIME U DONT BRAKE OFF YOUR LINE -FOR USE OTHER FISHERMAN TO GET HUNG ON.U WILL SEE ALL THE OLD LINE IN THE TREES ...

Report: fished lower Sac Arm Sept 30 and Pit Arm Sept. 31. Temps are dropping and the shad bite is coming on. Picked up only spots up to 1.5 max, but lots of 'em. Drop shot and S & P grubs, with a few early on top water. Bigger ones out to 15 ft. deep on steep rock slopes and points
City: Elk GroveTips: drag it slow and go light as possible. Secondary ramp at Jones Valley worked fine. Sugarloaf and Bridge Bay are your only other options.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Went up for the week and had a great time. Caught fish almost everyday. Getting cold at night, so the early morning bite was pretty slow for me. The afternoon seemed to be mt best times. Picked up a lot of 2 to 3 lb spots mostly and a few smallmouth off of rocks. Most fish came on cranks, got some on a drop shot with a shad imitation.
City: FERNLEY,NVTips: Cranking working best for us. Mostly shad pattern.
Small swim baits also. Great time to be at the lake, very little boat traffic right now & still warm days. -
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Bridge Bay still open but have a 15 dollar charge to launch there! I went to centimudi today and while I couldnt launch off the ramp you can drive to the side and go to the old paved road and launch with ease. Rainbows and Largemouth were both bitting heavy today about 50-80 ft down it was a great day!
City: AndersonTips: If you dont have a down rigger I advise a Pink Lady to dive your lures!
