    Water Temp: 67 - 75

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Two friends and I started fishing Cherry Creek about 8:30 am on Saturday, May 16. The water temperature started at 67 deg. and went to 75 deg. in the hot 90 deg. afternoon. The water was only clear to 2 -3 ft. and the wind was absolutely calm. These conditions allowed us to see many fish swimming in the trees on both sides of the creek mainly on the flats just before Skunk Camp. There were schools of 10

Tips: Be careful of the cables hooked to the dock. My fishing buddy tripped on one of them and fractured his arm at end of the day. Also watch the tracking of your trailer while parking it. My other fishing buddy tried to park my rig next to my other buddy

Report: This is not a report so I apologize.

Me and a buddy were leaving Friday afternoon to go to Clear Lake. Long story short I had all of my rod and reels blow out of the boat on 101 between Cloverdale and Hopland. They were in a bass pro carrying case and there were seven rod and reels in them if anybody has found some thing to that description please email me and I will be happy to reward anybody that will return them.

    Thank you.

Tips: Locate pods of fish and then back off and make log casts past, and then slowly retrieve over them.

    Water Temp: 60.5

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Got a late start and was on the water around noon. Hit the Yorty Creek Area looking for some bed fish. Nothing happening, so hit a couple of the long points near flats and bagged 5 fish to 4.5 lbs on shallow running cranks, white/chartreuse fished "slowly" over the grass. The lone female was still full and waiting. Moved to main lake points and picked up a couple of smallies on jigs. Wind picked up around 4:15PM, so called it a day with 7 fish, best five 14 lbs.
    City: Sebastopol

Tips: I spoke with a couple of guys in a Ranger at the dock saying they had seen fish on beds in the back of Cherry Creek. I never made it there, so I cannot confirm. I did not see a single fish up tight while in Yorty.

Report: Was quite a few more boats today than Monday. Ramp was busy. Almost looks like a torney was about to start, as we left lot, looked like weigh in truck just arrived, so I believe tourney is Sunday 3/29. Water is cold but still had skiers & jet skiers stiring H2o. Had 1 17' boat in middle of lake thinking he was a jet ski until their boat conked out right in the middle of deep water(no pun intended)As for fishing, threw the kitchen sink at them & caught & released 5 fish, biggest 21" male skinny & pale on a red & blk Senko. at least weather was nice. See you guys at the Coastside Annual Dinner in San Mateo!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Beautiful day! Took my son Mikey (11) out for his first trip of the new year. Went up to Cherry to try our luck and there was very little water up that way. Lake is really low. Tried thumb camp location with Spinner Bait, T-Rig, Crank Bait, Jig, swim bait. Nada, zippo, nothing. Started at 8:30 one fish on T-Rig lizzard that got wrapped on one ofthe thousands of trees that are now visible and broke off. Tried south for 1 - 3:30 no results on same baits, even whimped out and tried a drop shot down there. No fish but we had a great time mikey even jumped in (lasted about 2 seconds) he said the Lowrance is wrong that the water was 35 degrees.

Tips: Don't do anything we did.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Had our club Tourney it was a great day. 76 no wind and no bite. We went up yordy creek. i started throwin a Sexy red eye shad while my partner was throwin his basstrix swimbait nothin. so we went around the bend a little bit throwin swimbaits. jigs, brushogs, crankbaits, weightless reapers, senkos, shakeyheads. i even whipped out the ol" dropshot. I had two bites flippin the many trees out of the water. I lost one about three pounds. My partner also shook the hook on two swimbait fish but oh well. We had six boats and four fish were caught. we had four fish on and the tourny in our hands. but thats why its fishin and not catchin.but it beats sittin on the couch at home.
    City: Ukiah

Tips: Stay on the outside tree lines in 25-49 feet and stick with plastics and 5 inch swinbaits.my opinion dont go 2 sonoma its a waste of time and wrong time of year..but goodluck anyways.

    Water Temp: 55-58

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Went prefishing Saturday for the REBC tournament next weekend and stuck 12 fish from 1' to 50'. Biggest was 3.5#. Bite was best 1st thing but caught enough fish all day to keep it interesting. The Redwood Empire Bass Club Turkey Shoot Team tournament is this Saturday, Dec. 13th. Get your entry form at Outdoor Pro Shop in Rohnert Park or Western Sport Shop @902 3rd Street in San Rafael or download them on line at http://www.rebc.net/ Click on "Current Events/News:" or come to the meeting this Wednesday night (7PM) at the Rohnert Park Community Center at the corner of Rohnert Park Expressway and Snyder Lane and sign up, buy some raffle tickets for the drawing or even join the club. This is an open tournament. You don't have to be a member to fish it. There will be a raffle after the meeting. Every entrant will also get a free raffle ticket at the tournament where there'll be another drawing.
    City: Santa Rosa

Tips: Caught our fish up early then deep after the sun got on the water. Color was critical. Tried several "other" colors but they wouldn't eat it. If we put the "correct color" in their face they would eat it immediately. Wrong color and you'd swear there weren't any fish there.
    - go fish!

Report: Sounds like somebody went to the lake and did some LICKING. Har. TOUGH TOUGH TOUGH bite. As Billy always says "THAT LAKE SUCKS". Har. D.B.COOPER
    City: Petaluma

Tips: Tacklewarehouse will be getting in some large shipments of this licking cream called THE CREAM. We will be selling it in the parking lot at Sonoma before the Redwood Empire christmas tournament starts, that way you will not have to wait in line. Just apply this stuff LIBERALLY after you come off the water. The pain will go away after a few days.
