    Water Temp: 60 or so

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: I love Spring Lake. It's right here in the middle o town, outrageously beautiul, and holds possibly some o the biggest largemouth bass in the world. However, it's also sometimes very crowded, always ished a lot, and unwilling to throw a bone my way in the orm o a ish or two. But I go anyway. Every so oten my persistence is rewarded. Six weeks ago I caught one ish in three hours o ishing---a 7.4 on a Senko. The last several times beore and ater that were skunksville (probably just a testiment to my ishing abilities). Then today. Fish all over the place, ry all over the place. I practically rip their little guts out with my trolling motor. Sunny. Windy. Warm. Perect. I go to a shallow area with a drop o and throw, o course, a Senko. An almost imperceptable "tick" on the end o the line tells me it's probably a small buck, but at least I won't get skunked. Set the hook, then WHAM! She turned out to be a beauty. I'd do her i I was a ish. Over and over again. She weighed in a portly 9.4, with a belly ull o eggs. My biggest bass yet. I orgot the camera, but my girlriend was there to see her, too. She even netted the ish. What more can I say? Perect experience. Leave the lake, go home, and be happy.

Report: Fished the north west corner o the lake catching 4 ish.Lost 1 and caught 1 on a ripped pointer minnow around isolated weed patches.Caught a 5+ and 3 more keepers, split shotting a 4 inch baby bass pattern, straight tail worm. I'd pitch it into the base o the tules rom 20 to 30 eet.
    City: Rohnert Park

Tips: Bass are still spawning. I've seen nests as deep as 5 eet when the water is clear enough. Back o the tules to see them. Lots o bass ry to 3 inches around.Someone told me that 3 inch ry are 2 months old. Wow. That means a ew ish were spawning in early ebuary!
