    Water Temp: 49.4

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Went looking for some winter bass and couldn't find them. Fished the South end of Trinity in 20-50 ft. off points and along creek channels. Overcast conditions with little to no wind and/or rain. Prior trips in Nov. and Oct. yielded a lot of trout on rip baited and crank baits. This trio I drew a blank. Anyone with some tips on Trinity winter bass?

    Water Temp: 65

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Rolfy and I Fished Trinity from 14th to the 17th for smallmouth and largemouth Eddy and his group fished for Trout
Trout fishing is killer right now they bank fished for lots of nice ones.
Bass fishing was slow..but we don't fishing this body of water that often...second time in 40 yrs.
We fished out of Trinity Center and just hung around that area. While the Bass fishing was slow we caught alot of Trout using bass lures.
Most of the Bass were hanging from 25 to 40ft most of the day we dropshoted those fish they ranged from 1 to 2lbs with the Smallies being the larger fish.
We did manage to get out early Sat with some cloud cover I tried a Spook and stuck a 7+ largemouth in 50ft of water on a point it made that trip worth While!
    Good luck be safe

Report: fished friday thru saturday night, first fish was a 4lb smallmouth on the swimbait...then a 2lb largemouth on swimbait, got a few more smallmouth but nothing real big, only a couple fish after dark one 3.5 largemouth on the brushhog but it was real slow. saturday was a little slow in the morning as I lost my favorite swimbait but once the breeze picked up so did the fishing, caught a bunch of smallmouth on the drop shot with aarons magic, nothing real big but lots of fun 1 to 2 lbrs that fought like crazy. Saturday evening I lost two real big ones on two consecutive casts with an xrap on a submerged rock pile I found that afternoon and went back to...great trip, cant wait to go back.

Tips: drop shot worked well also the osprey 5" swimbait and xrap in the evening, was surprised that the zara didnt work to well for me.

    Water Temp: 56-60

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: To answer the question in the previous post about the ramp at Fairview, by the dam, I was there Saturday the 5th and there is only about 3ft. of concrete in the water and the end of the ramp drops off vertically about 16 inches, so it's not usable yet. The lake is rising at the rate of about a foot per day, so it shouldn't be long before it is usable, especially if the weather stays warm and the snow continues to melt. For now suggest that you use the Minersville ramp. Slow day for me with lots of small fish, but nothing bigger than 2lbs. caught most of them on tubes.

    Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Lake is down more than 100 ft from full and dropping about 4" per day the three days I was there. With all the cruisers and jet skis the water is muddied up and fishing is tough. Mud line develops as early as 10am when the skiers hit the lake. Found a few fish near steep banks using dark colored plastics. Everything is out of the water including the rock plies up at the north end.
    City: Walnut Creek

Tips: Go to Shasta instead. Trinity is only at 45% of capacity and still falling.

Report: Lots of fish on beds, and up shallow. normal spring patterns worms, senkos, jigs, tubes. I got the bigger bites on a crawfish crankbait fished right on the bottom, fish were aggressive and just crushing it. I also started fishing shoreline timber and stuck a few on main lake points. if you want the big dogs throw the swimbait, anything that looks like a kokanee salmon, they love em good luck. trinity alps was a shady ramp out way on the point check out minersville or trinity center.
