Then took two more on root beer worms. so it was a real mix. I ended up catching seven bass but three were undersized. One spot went three and a hal pounds on a worm.At the boat ramp, some guy said he was trolling the dam and took 4 nice trout and a 13 pound catish!!!!!!! Flashers and worms. He said they were about 15 eet down.Another riend ished the mouth o the south. Lots o bait and ish marked deep. they got nothing. Forgot their weights or the downriggers.so, that's was about that. First water skier at 6:30.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: My riend and I went to laayette and went to get two dozen nightcrawlers at about 3:30. Then went to the other side and stopped at the secret dock on the let which has a little table on it. Since the clarity was so great we did sight ishing or bluegill. At irst we didn't catch much because the worm was too big (hint,#1). But when we cut it down to a quarter inch the little blugill began to bite like crazy. Saw a big bass about 3 or 4 pounds! By the end o the day which was about 8:45 we had racked up about 90 bluegill and yellow perch and baby bass. No big bass. We released all the ish that lived and the ones that were going to die we ed to a nearby heron. It was one o my best ishing days.

Report: Got on the lake at 8 and fished till 1:30. Cold and foggy in the morning. Threw the buzzbait alot today; didn't really feel like worming out in all those ski boat wakes on the main body. Wound up getting 6 blowups, landing 3 small ones. Also got 3 small fish using worms on points. Not a great day, but the topwater makes it worth it!
      City: San Mateo

Tips: For numbers, go worming. For fun, throw a topwater...and remember, topwater DOES work in the afternoon if you are in the right area!!!

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Today was tuff. Couln't get a bite all morning on anything. Fished buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, worms, senkos without a bump. Then Pete finally hooked up in the big shallow bay in the creek channel splitshoting a z shad. The fish was about 1 1/2 lbs then I caught one about a pound on a senko off a weed line. After not getting any more fish back there we moved to main lake points and I caught a little guy on a carlina rigged big ika. Then a couple more hours went buy and I hooked up again. This one was a little over 2 lbs and was caught on speed trap on shallow mudlines. Also tried frogs on matted weeds but couldn't get any bites. Hope you can do better.

Report: I'm 17 years old, and have benn having Some awesome ishing going on lately. I've been ishing Disco Bay, and Big Break Marina, and killing them.the best patterns have been white and chartreuse spinner baits, as well as black buzzbaits, poppers, and rogs right on top or the grass. the buzzbaits also produced well o o rip rap. my largest ish however a 8.06 lb. bass was caught about 9:00 wednessday morning. I caught him an a Castaic thread in shad. my all time avorite lure.
      City: Brentwood

Tips: try throwing Castaics. yes, i know they are very expensive, but they really pay o. Just try not to lose 6 o them in one day like I did. its a good idea to buy some o the expensive lines like spiderwire etc. also spend time ishing grass and weedbeds, that lie adjacent to rip rap. i this pattern doesn't produce or you, you may as well drive your boat on in, and kiss the day goodbye. good luck, and I hope to see ya on the water. and remember, Jesus Christ loves you, and He died to save you rom eternal damnation in hell. God bless!!!!
