Report: Fished Don May 8-10 during hot weather! Water clarity was an easy 20 eet-easy spookin'. Had little luck the irst two days ishing plastics, spinners, rapalas, crankbaits... near Middle Lake. Saw a lot o big carp in the arms and bays mixed in with the bass. We even tracked down big schools o baitish, tried rocky points, grassy slopes, drop-os, the works. Finally, it all came together day 3, still hot as sin, and landed 7 or 8 ish between 7am and 1pm. Two bass went 3.2 and a couple more went 2.2 pounds. We had un camping above the ol' water line, nearly 30 eet below normal-yikes! Good luck the rest o the year-it'll be low and slow.
      City: Santa Cruz

Tips: Earlier in the day (and season) seam better. Try rapalas!

      Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Got on the water about 6pm and started in the north ork throwing plastics in the trees. We didn't do too good on that pattern so we started targeting the rip-rap. This turned out to be the ticket, as we senko'd, ripped and darter headed all three species up to 3 #'s. We quit around 8:30 with about 20 ish. This seems to be the beat that reuses to die this year. We haven't had a trip with less then 20 ish in the past 3 months and most o our trips are 3 hours or less. Folsom has been awesome this year.
      City: roseville, ca

Tips: The ish are still up in shallow water. We actually caught 3 or 4 big emale spots that hadn't evened spawned yet.Be prepared to get beat up, as the pleasure boaters are thick

      Water Temp: 73

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Awesome day on the water! There was NO WIND, and beautiful skies. The water was up to 20 foot visibillity. Launched out of Markely at 6:15 a.m. Headed for main points throwing flukes and ripping for the shallow bass. No luck for an hour. Not one fish! Switched to the split shot magic worm, and brought in 10 fish fast. Not much size. Headed across the arm at about 9 a.m. to land 5 more, including two 3lb. spots, all on dark red/pink magic worms. Heahed out past the narrows into the main lake, and worked the points and coves. Still no wind! We landed 11 more fish, all on the dark red/ pink magic worms. At the end of the day we had 26 fish, the biggest just over three pounds with two limits of keepers, and a seven fish limit of 14 pounds. With the weather, and the fish, we had an awesome day!
      City: Vacaville

Tips: The fish are off the beds now. No more bruisers in the shallows. Almost all of the fish are in transition now, so split shot your worms in rocky areas, in 10-20 ft. of water. The bite is real soft, so set the hook when unsure!

      Water Temp: ?

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: We started out at the peninsula ,and got nothing. The last little cool o must have moved some ish deeper. I didn't even see any ish this time. So we took a drive north,as usual, and got on some ish on a rock pile. There were some willows right by us and so was a 3lb largemouth that got ooled on a pink worm. We decided to move, because ishing was slow, and got blown o the lake. We drove to a less windy cove and hooked into a 2lb and 4lb largemouth. The male looked like someone tried to make him lunch. The emale looked like she was starting to get hungry again ater her spawn. Hopeully this weekend will warm the lake up and turn the ish on. Oh, by the way my girlriend caught the 4lber. Good luck.
      City: El Dorado Hills

Tips: Pink seems to be the color o choice. Rocks and willows always seem to have ish, just not as many this week. I gotta give props to the dude who had an awesome morning with 24lb bag. That is incredible on Folsom.

      Water Temp: warm??

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Bass have slowed down a bit with the water level dropping, but the crappie are smoking right now. Last couple times out, caught and released somewhere in the neighborhood o **50 to 60** crappie, and another trip with a couple guys that produced about 40 ish. Little white jigs on 4lb does the trick. Did manage to pick up a small handul o 1-1.5 lb bass on the little rod. What un that is.
      City: rohnert park

Tips: little white grub in shallow water near grass will get you all the crappie you care to mess with right now. Work slow across the top o the grass.

Report: Fished the Lake in a tourney this past weekend, ended up in 6th place with 35.20 lbs or ten ish. Stayed mostly in the North end. Fished with Senkos (all watermelon colors worked)mostly till the sun was upright. Found beds and caught many sight ish on chart/getzits and white grubs. The dead end sloughs were real muddy due to the carp spawn. I could'nt get anything going in any o them.I was told that the south end was just getting started, as the ish were still spooky. It ought to turn on real good this weekend.
      City: San Leandro

Tips: Find something to do till the sun comes out, then hit the banks. The ish were in 2'-5'.
