      Water Temp: 70-72

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished south and stayed there. Morning bite was tough, no topwater. Pumps were running so outgoing was incoming. The stripers have made it South, found a school of 3 to 5 lbers and played with them for a while. Cranked a few keepers off current points, flipped a couple more in tule pockets in current. Crank bite was best and continued to out produce flipping. Cranked a limit or two around until noon. The better fish were still in 6 to 10 feet of water even at high tide. Caught fish but the size was not that good.
      City: Tracy

Tips: Cranked red(trap and bomber) flipped senkos and worms. No jig fish for me on this trip.

Report: Fishing at Calero is pretty good - no complaints - bagged a few largemouths (3.5lbs and 4lbs). "Reality," maybe the "females" weren't biting for you because your rig was a little derisory for their tastes, rookie.

The second day we got on the lake beore daylight. Fished top water but did not even get a bite. Once the sun came out we ished plastic worms in about thirty eet o water. Caught six ish, all small. Everything suspended last night in 8-12 eet o water, sur wish I knew how to get them biting when they suspend!

Report: Fished late afternoon on Saturday hoping for a topwater bite. Launched out of Cappel and ran up near Berryessa marina fishing the exposed humps. First and fourth casts produced two nice smallies to 2lbs each on topwater. Worked the humps with 4in grubs taking two more fish. Worked our way down around big island and found the large mouths to be feeding on the surface where we landed two, 3lb and 4lb, bucket mouths on a zara spook. All in all not a bad outing for a couple of hours. Went up to Putah creek and found it full with a heard of ski boats blasting through the 5 mile zone!
