Report: It was a little better out there today than last time, but still lots of really small fish...whats up with that?? Me and my buddy caught 16 or so, with many of them being around 10". We each got a few nice fish though around 2lbs, and I caught the largest around 3lbs on a speedtrap. We caught some cranking outside weedlines on the speedtrap, but most came in 20-35' of water on c-rigged reapers and magic worms. Tried topwater first thing in the morning and nothing.
      City: San Mateo

Tips: C-rig deep and crank weedlines.

      Water Temp: ??

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Well, got out in the loat tube today. Got out there around 7:10. Started out throwing a buzzbait around the weededges by the boat ramp. Only used it or no more than 10 min without a thing, so then I started using Senkos. Was ishing east o the boat ramp against the reeds in that little cove. Caught a 2# around 7:30, and then a little 11" about 30t down rom the 2#. Fished the rest o those reeds with the Senko until I got to the east bank where it's just total weeds right up next to the reeds all the way along the east shoreline. Threw the rog on the WHOLE thing. Nothing even looked at it. I haven't been gettin' ANYTHING on the rog lately. I don't know you caught that 6# on the rog, Rhino. Lucky bum!! Anyway, ished the rog all the way back to the dam. Then I cranked the whole dam along the weed line. Nothing! Again, Rhino! You lunky bum! haha. Then once I reached the other side o the dam I started lipping the tules with a yammamoto crawdad. Picked up a 2.5# then I realized, ya know, loat tube is ridin' a little low in the water. haha. So I had to go into shore WAY back there by the dam. About as ar away rom the boat ramp as you can get. Ugh. SO I had to walk it all the way back around. On my way back I ished the Channel Point dock. I lipped the tules with the yammie crawdad again. First lip was about 3t away rom the dock way back into the tules, as soon as it hit the water it seemed like, ish banged it REAL hard twice and I missed it! Hook and weight came lyin' back at me with no crawdad. I also cranked, bladed, and senkoed (I guess ya'd call it...haha) rom the Channel Point dock without a thing. That's it!

Tips: I'm goin' back tomorrow morning and doin' the one thing I KNOW I can always catch bass doin' here. Flip those tules!! You can lip just about anything back in there it seems like and they'll eat it. Also, throw those Senkos in the shade! Can't go wrong there either!!

Report: Launched out o Barretts ishing a night tournament with club.Ran up the river arm to just beore the bridge. We managed about 25 ish or the night so there was decent action (at least or us)I was mainly managing my ish on a Black/Blue Midnight SpecialSpinnerbait (yes the one rom Walmart with Rattle and big Colorado blade)I was slow rolling it right down on the bottom to pull my ish. This wasthe irst time I ran a spinnerbait so slow, was bumping the rock all night and got hung up quite a ew time. It eventually wasted the 2 spinnerbaitsI had. My partner pulled most o his ish in on Cranks (Evening beore) and topwaterin the morning starting around 4AM. We managed 5 over the slot to win the tournament. The top 2 teams came rom up the river. All other teams headed towards the dam. Most all other teams were trying to worm/jig their ish. Got too love those Spots. They may be smaller than your largemouth but they put up twice the ight.Good Luck.Zack

Report: Launched at Lazy M at around 3:30pm and fished til dark. Stayed South and had a good bite. Caught 18 fish up to 4.5#s. All fish were caught in heavy current on a variety of lures on the incoming tide. Started off with a few small crank fish. Went to Jigs & plastics and quality of fish went up. Fish started hitting topwater at dark. Best 5 went 15lbs. tight lines!
      City: Danville

Tips: I wasted about 2 hours of fishing time probing protected areas without moving water. Fish are in or near current. Look for anything that breaks the current, pitch that jig in there and hold on!
