Report: I had an awesome day Sunday at the Delta. I was fishing this new bait. I fished crack of dawn around Franks throwing buzz baits till the sun came up. I caught a couple of fish in the two pound range. I switched to a flip patterern and fished tule clumps in Franks and Big Break all day on low and high tide. I stuck a eight plus, six and (2) fours, man I wish it was a tourney day! I used this watermelon seed Slip Slug fished weightless. Man I stuck all of these fish before noon with also two&three pounders there after. This bait out fished my partners shad stinkos 9-1. The dink fish could not swallow this big thing down. Man I was lucky to find this bait and I hope it does well this weekend too. Ooh the guy that makes this bait is in Nor Cal, TOC custom tackle they have a web sight but this new bait is not listed, try www.toc-customtackle.com to get their info. Good luck. Bass Dude

Report: American Bass Anglers club launched 5 boats from B&W Resort- -Paper Tournament- We encountered high water first thing in the morning, I ran to the northern part of Franks tract and threw a black buzz bait and the fish were all over it, I removed the clacker from this bait,, I feel it makes too much noise, and I was pulling it as slow as possible ,I had a limit by 11 a.m. I started fishing in sycamore with low tide throwing a nasty looking old beat up Knarley looking crawdad crankbait and the bigger fish started eating it good,Id throw this bait just up inside the outer weed line and worked it down, I culled two fish to take first place with 10.11. I also caught one fish on a senko and saw the fish come out of the tulles to eat it Two other small limits were weighed in also caught on senkos. The Big fish was over three pound. Good Luck P.P.
