Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished our local club tourney rom 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.. Daylight hours were hot and we got to enjoy the pleasant company o the ever courtious pleasure boaters. Started in the river arm just above Moccason. Started with crank, jerk, and top water baits but ater my partner caught a keeper split shotting a worm I made the switch. 4" green weenie style worms w/red and green lake got me a limit and culling by 6 p.m.. Partner was using the same color but a 4" leech and he had 3 keepers. Nothing great w/ the biggest being only 15" we started working our way back down. Fished the power line area but could only catch dinks so as it got darker we headed to the dam. I switched to a 4" black ring worm w/ire tail and my partner was throwing a 6" black ring worm w/chartruese tail. 10 p.m. on the Blue Oak side o the dam my partner caught a 4.65 lber. which ended up being big ish or the tourney.
City: DelhiTips: Worming was the ticket or us. Ater dark worm with larger dark colored plastics.

Water Temp: warm

Report: Got my rat in about 9 this morning. LOTS o small bluegill and bass all over the place. Landed two ish. One just over two lbs, and the second just under. Lost three others, one o which was small. Don't know how big the other two were. Could not get anything to bite on shoreline cover. All ish were on submerged trees or brush out in the middle, at least 50t rom shore. Bites came on 4" appleseed and a 7" purple powerworm. Color did not seem to make as much o a dierence as location. Can't believe I couldn't catch any in that beautiul shoreline cover. As I went across the lake near the dam, noted that it gets over 95' deep. Marked some schools o ish in the 45 to 80 oot range. Looks like there may be a ew trout in there, but not a lot. As others have mentioned, I had a heck o a time getting my rat, battery, etc. down to the water. Not sure it was worth all the work. Next time I'll have to take a loat tube.

Report: Launched @ B&W about 3:00PM. Went into Potato, Hog@Beaver. Looked for the Toads, Managed 5 bass all around 2.5 pounds. They did not seem real active, Compared to the 1LB Frog that clamped onto my Frog. Noticed at about 6:30 PM The moon was as big as the sky. I believe the fish feasted the night before. Thanks for the advise SPANKY, use that POWER PRO LINE and could only stick two pounders. I GUESS IT DOESN"T matter what line I use, still land the babies.

Report: Well ather and i went out o Granite Bay at 5:20 with no one in the parking lot. We went up the North Fork and into the irst big cove. First cast with a White/Black broken back Rapala cought a 2#'er. Nothing or 30 minutes untill we went urther into the Fork to an area with a point with an island next to it. Out by 8:00.
City: SacramentoTips: Use the pumpkin-seed/chartruse worm SLOWLY. Fish just suck it up and all you ell is a tap and you see your line move to the side. Top-water would probably work beore sun comes out.

Report: Fished Big Break at 6:30 and was off the water by 12:30. It was just to darn HOT! Managed to p/u 6 fish all in the 1.5 to 2.0 range. Tryed buzzbaits, worms, cranks and even worked the cheese with a frog, but caught all my fish on a pearl fluke, skipping it to the edge of the tules. When my bag of flukes was to hot to pick up I knew it was time to git!

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Spent Thursday 8th through Sunday the 11th on a houseboat and went out every morning in the Champion to check the ishing. We were anchored up the McCloud and since I don't normally ish there, decided to do all my ishing there and had a ball. Very little top water or rip bite and had them taking worms rom the get go and colors varied rom Oxblood to Oxblood with chartruese tail on a darthead. Fish ranged in the standard 1-2 pound with a ew going over 2-3 and plenty o ish until breakast time at 10:AM. Most ish came o secondary points or deep clay banks.
City: WheatlandTips: Using a little heavier darthead (1/4 oz) on 6 lb line and long casts as the ish have very good visibility in the clear water. Worked real slow as all the bites were a pressure bite.
