Report: Launched at Paradise @ 7am heading north into Whites, Little Potato and Terminous area. Should've fished Forrest Wood open with the limit I had by 10:30. Rodstrainer buzzbaits killed 'em early - special FruitLoop color is working by boating a 3.5 & 4.2 by 9am. Big fat PIG full of eggs came before 10am on a point loaded with wood on a outgoing tide. She hit a Rodstrainer Dinkster jig w/a custom Conroy Oakley barf colored trailer (you still Da Man, Conroy!). Fish weighed 8.3 and made Robert Lee a sick man as I held it before him as my my partner snapped pictures of it before releasing. A few other miscellaneous jig & Rico fish had me strong 18LB limit by 10:30. Put the boat up at 1:30 and home by 2:00.
      City: Modesto

Tips: Crawl you buzzbait as S-L-O-W as possible while maintaining it slightly above water. Spend a few moments opening the buzzbait hook with pliers and sharpen with file. Invest time with jigs in current situations.
