      Water Temp: 69-72

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Put in this morning at 6AM with client Tim Mathews (TimDog) did an Instructional on Ledge fishin, the fish were there but a very lite "tic tic" but, we manage to get some...they were in the undersize catogory. Switch to a weed bed pattern in deeper water and immediately caught better fish using Snoozerbaits "Thrasher". Continued instructional request "Dinks". By 9AM we did a change up on the ledges and grass bed and started throwing Spinnerbaits (White) smoked them on windy banks. Ran the rest of day just show and tell. Best 5 went around 10lbs,,, the fish are diffently in a post-spawn.
      City: Castro Valley

Tips: Watch your depthfinder (Front) for the ledge and drop your "confident" bait down. Suggest leavin it there until you can figure out witch way they will eat it in presentation. If this doesn't get them slow roll a spinnerbait to get a reaction hit. Frog Bite didn't exist for us today.

Ended up with 15 pounds, and ourth place, very goodday or us and our little aluminum boat.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Got on the water @9:00pm. Very late start. Could not ind anybody to go with so I went solo. Very hot nightshorts and tee shirt were adequate. Fished ater dusk in tulies or 45 minutes w/no results. Flipped to a dock piling as I navigated around it and caught a 3lb at 9:45. Tried more pilings to no avail. Fished anderson and dollar Island.......nothing. Headed south to some inside rocks and dumped a 1.5lb at boat. Had several other pecks that I missed. Landed a 3.5 at 11:30 on brushog. My area had very bright lights shining on bank which messed up the bite in areas where I normally get bit. Fish in this area were in shade pockets very shallow. About midnight, I tried an area o deeper rocks that I had or some reason never ished beore that was a stones throw rom my usual spot. Bingo! Slammed 6 ish, smallest 3 lbs to 5.8 lbs. Broke my reel seat on biggest ish(now I can relate Ripper!). By 3 Am, had 5.8,5.1,5.0,4.7, and 3.5 or my 5 biggest 24.1 lbs. Lost no big ish, Finally ound a good line that does not break, big game lippin #20....thanks lunker Lar!
      City: Yuba City

Tips: 6"brushogs worked or me. 3/16 oz wt. Concentrate on an area when you catch several ish. Several times a second trip down the bank produced several ish.

Report: This message is or Shaun Laytem. I just wanted to congrat you on your 4th place inish at Folsom. I was in that tournament, irst or me and my partner. I just thought it was pretty cool to see you place ahead o all those "bass" boats with your little "aluminum" boat. It just shows that you don't need a $20,000 boat to catch ish. Don't get me wrong, I think bass boats are great. You impressed me and my parner with your limit. It was a pretty tough day or us. I think we jumped around too much. Anyways, congrats.PS.. Where did you buy your 15 horse motor and how much was it?Splunkah Man

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: all arms are ull o junk, mostly small pieces loating around, jet powered vessels are having a tough time keeping the stu cleaned out, lots o small ish being taken, expect to cull through 30-40 ish or an 8lb 5 ish limit, most ish being taken rom at least 12t o water down to 30t, a surace bite is available IF you get on the water around 430Am, it dies o rapidly, activity is growing daily and the weekend o memorial day will be a mess, mudline ishing should be in vogue ater next weekend with all the traic expected, early and late will be productive with choppy water in the middle o the day due to boat traic. Highest temp this am was ound in the O'Brien Inlet at 68 degrees, lowest was the upper Squaw at 61, don't overlook the mudlines being pulled o points, toss something into the mudline and drag it back out and hang on when it clears. The lake is at 12 1/2 t and rising very slowly, should stop soon and drop which will clean things up we could use some wind to blow the debris onto the banks.

Report: Went tubing, with a friend, Sunday. I hooked a 2lber just left of the damn on a white spinner bait. A little while later, my partner got another on a white spinnerbait. I snapppedped my spinner bait off, so I switch to a purple worm, didn't wont to re-thread my rod ;) About that time several water skiers came very close to us. I would say within 20 feet. One guy actual went between me and the shore. I caught one more on a worm and called it a day.
