Report: Had a tournament and was expecting a solid bite rom past reports but we experienced the opposite. The bite was tough at best. Caught tons o runts but had a tough time inding quality ish. I guess with a barametric pressure drop that could explain the great bite earlier this week. We had rain most o the day and a little wind. Even though I won the tournament getting lucky inding a spawning par o ish the others in the livewell were little guys so nothing to write home about. The bite could only get better at this point. Sonoma is a beautiul lake to take the amily and visually the structure is incredible. I the past reports are honest then I would recommend a visit. PS I had only ished this lake once beore and caught an 8+ and a 6+ plus a ew other nice ish so I know there are some good ones in there.
      City: mtn. view

Tips: I caught a lot o ish on Yamamoto Senkos in a light color dead sticking and got the two bed ish on jigs plus a ew other strikes as well on the jig. Good luck out there. cv

Report: fished until the rain came at about 3:00 we found decent fishing but nothing big. largest fish went 2.7 lbs the only pattern we found was buzz bait first thing and then flipping into the holes in the wed beds at low tide with crawdad colored zippers. the bite was VERY SUBTLE! almost all of the bites were detected by line movement not feel, even the one on a crank bait! biGjOhn, OWT
      City: Sacramento

Tips: "dip" or flip the holes in the weed beds at low tide, WATCH YOUR LINE! everything we caught was delta red or crawdad colored! from plastic, to crankbait, jig to blade, all fish came on red or red/brown or black. the biggest fish had a half digested crawdad coming out it's vent! TIP: crawdad patterns, fished slow and watch your line!

Report: Had a pretty good day yesterday. Got third place in the 100% tourney, with 25.45# Caught a good limit early on Top Water, then cranked after that bite shut down. Couldn't cull a fish after about 11 A.M........But I'm not complaining, it's not easy to cull 3#rs. ALL of my fish have been coming near spawning areas, in the grass. I would like to thank sTony, for the use of his boat, without it, I wouldn't have found these fish. Thanks also to Korny & The 100% crew, for the best Teams Circut out there, & a real nice paycheck. Thanks Bud
      City: Modesto

Tips: Early, Hit the spawning areas with topwaters fished slowly. Alot of good bucks guarding the nests right now. Then back off about 50 yds & crank any edge or lane in the grass....The post spawn females are hanging out there. Fish Sloooooow

      Water Temp: 60

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Had an EXCELLENT trip with 2 clients last night, Started about an hour beore dark - it was cold and windy. Lake temp had dropped - again! We wound up with 13 bass rom 3 1/2 lbs to 8 lbs, with the 5 ish limit at 32 lbs. Both clients had several 5's and 6's. We also had 2 dinks. This would have been a great report i I had landed the one I lost under the boat which hit a Weapon jig - unortunately on a cast that was too long. It was one o the heaviest bass I have ever had on. Clients were good worm and jig ishermen - even in the wind. Rattlin' Weapon jigs/with Yamamoto grubs (black/chartreuse) or plastic pork seemed to edge the zipper worms in eectiveness, maybe because we seem to be going back to winter. One client has been having a lot o success day and night on tubes, and caught a 5 last night using one. We ished rom Buckingham to Wheeler Point. Interesting - the ish were on a terriic big ish bite or only 2 one hour periods - rom dark to one hour ater, and 12 to 1 am.
      City: Yuba City

Tips: It suprised me how shallow the ish were on the second cold night - that tells me the ish are now committed to the spawn in the south end. I always target potiential spawning areas (lat rocks, tule/wall combos, private launching ramp edges (not used this time o year) that are near deep water areas. This usually gives us a chance to really stick a big ish.
