Report: Went ishing here this week. The ishimg was great. Saw the biggest bass o my lie. I was ishing or trout since thebass weren't doing much. I had spotted the hog sittin underthe bridge. I tempted it with every thing i had in the box.I guess he didn't get the big or being stupid. The I said orget it and went back to ishin or trout. I was catchingtrout. I think that the ive wieghed out at 18 pounds totalwieght. When I had caught one trout about 14 inches I saw the bass chasing it. So I igured lets see what happens. He chased it around and then took the whole trout. I was amazedto see it take the whole ish. it swam o with my ish. I triedto bring him in with out the hook in him but he spit it up.he did this a couple o times but gave up ater a ew more times. He was 12+ pounds and his partner was 10+ pounds. This wassomething that I don't see every day. This monster still lurks in the lake.

Water Temp: 65
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: I went out on Sat., managed to catch about 25 in the last 4 hours of the day. Carolina riggin' smk/pepper reefers, power lizards, and anything that was soft plastic. The fish were still kind of in spawn mode. Not extremely active like during the summer, but nonetheless and great day of fishing.
City: FairfieldTips: Many of the fish were holding close the beds, had to throw directly in the cover, and near and around rocks to make the fish move. Once I keyed on certain areas, caught more than one or two. But each spot cooled within half an hour. Drag and jig the rocks hard, they're in there, but you got to find them. Good Fishing TH

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of B&W around 7am and headed to Sycamoore with absolutely no success. Worked my way back to Tower Park Marina and flipped the docks and the slough at the end...repeat of Sycamoore, sure made me more sick not catch'n any fish. Worked area with flukes, brushogs, blades and cranks. I gave up around noon. Talked with one of the Team Mercury pros who said not to feel bad he got skunked in Sycamoore as well but did well in Franks. No need to tell you where NOT to fish.

Report: Launched my kickboat at about 7:00a.m. from Bailey Cove. Caught a few fish throughout the day. All on soft plastics. None of the fish were bigger than 1.5 lbs. All were caught in 10 to 20 feet of water. A couple in the deepest part of the coves and a couple on the main body of the lake. I also found a foot and a half long adolescent rattlesnake 100 yards offshore trying to get in my tube with me. That was interesting. I think he was lost.

Water Temp: 61-64
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished 1/2 day Saturday. Luanched out of the Break but ran over to Franks and the central Delta area looking for new water. Landed 6 fish total. Largest was 6 lbs female that hit a Spade tail worm. Caught several smaller fish slow cranking a red craw diver. Larger fish hitting jigs and worms crawled on the bottom. Tried Iron house first thing but no bites. Water was up to 64 in the slough but really muddy.
City: San RamonTips: Only pattern I could come up with was sun drenched rocky banks with water to 10 ft. Throw worm or jig at wood and craw slowly. Hits are light but obvious.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished the Newbass semi-pro out of Ladd's. 47 boats-good turn-out. The bite was tough! My partner Terry D. and I had 6 fish for 16.39 pounds. This was good for 3rd place overall, our big fish was 3.9. We caught them all on on jigs, down South and around Mildred's. There were only a couple of 7 fish limits weighed. top weight was a little over 18 pounds. I read alot about these 20-25 pound limits in here, but game day seems to keep the weights down, whats the deal????
City: san joseTips: Jigs always seem to work.
