      Water Temp: 62

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the Dry Creek arm o the lake today. Clarity is about one oot to our eet. Surace temperature is about 60 - 62 F. WarmSprings arm o the lake has warmer water and much more clarity. The largemouth are not spawning yet. Last spawn was just beoreChristmas, but we lost all when the lake levels were dropped without consideration or the bass. The males stayed on their nests untilthe last minute. Wish DFG would get out and talk to those o us that ish the lakes???? Present day (04-30-2000) the males arechecking out potential spawning locations and the big emales are cruising just o the drop os. We were ishing up or size in lessthan two hours. We caught some nice ish, but they were only just over our pounds and one over ive. None under our. We wereusing 8 and 11 inch custom made worms. This was a good quality ishing day. The smallmouth have alreadyspawned and the malesare holding on the nests in about 12 eet o water. The next two weeks should be easy ishing or most anglers. The rainbow trout areholding at about 28 eet and should be easy or those who have downriggers and know how to rig 00 dodgers with one inchminnows. Saludos, Wes
      City: Healdsburg

Tips: Fish slow - about 2 to three hours to cover 100 yards o bank- mask scent o your boat. Use large custom made worms - 8 to 12 inches long is just about right.

Report: started out at 5m yesterday out of Antioch, nothing on buzz bait for top water. Got the spinner out and started catching 2-5 lbs fish right of edge of grass. Spinners stopped working around 9am, took out some large bomber crank and caught a few more. Try to pitch brush hog but wind to strong and knock my boat around.

Tips: white or chart. 1/2 oz spinner, let it sink and retrieve real slow, just enough for blade to spin, right above bed. crawdad color crank, the bigger the better.

Our biggest one was a little over two #.all the rest were about a #.the weather was pretty good or two days then the other two were a little rainy. The rainy days were when we caught the most ish.we caught all o our ish either sight ishing with a lting lure or a straight worm that is texas rigged. Those were mostly the smallmouths. Then mostly all o the largemouth bass were caught o a texas rigged straight worm. The two biggest ish were caught o o a renzy crankbait and a texas rigged crawdad.
      City: eureka

Tips: The best places to ish would be at the little cove at the ruth lake recreational camp ground.the other good spots would be at the little coves in the big cove right across the lake rom the boat rental place.Fish by allin trees or bushes and in ar out in the little coves.Any color worm works i it is a striaght worm and it is not a loating worm .better ishin in the mornings and late in the day.GOOD LUCK
