Report: Fished or three days with my two teenage sons. Caught 2 to 3 ish each per day to 7 lbs. Fishing is slow. Cold at night (ice on boat cover) and very windy during the day (milder today though). Few bed ish and those aren't biting willingly. The water on the Lakeport side has turned murky. Had a great time but certainly wasn't close to two weeks ago with 68 degree water and agressive ish. Some very large bass are suspended under docks but are very skittish. Good luck and hope or warm weather.

Report: Clear Lake put on a wind show or me and my clients that even I couldn't believe. Some locals asked my how I was able to guide last night. I'm not sure - but we managed! One client landed a 3 1/4 on the irst cast, using a june bug Dead Ringer, about 4;30 PM. We were ishing near Anderson Island. I only got one bite, but it was a major one. 20 minutes beore dark, I threw a 8" Berkley lip n' tail (red shad) worm into one o my avorite spots in the back o Knocti Bay, and got one o those toads to eat it. Ater a long battle we got it in the net. She weighed 12 lbs on one scale, but a little under on the other two. I igure she was 11 lbs 13 oz. It is a real thrill to ish an area year ater year and know that someday - you will be there at the RIGHT time!! As night ell, the wind just got worse. The other client lost a couple - one good one - but inally landed a 2 3/4 on a zipper worm. That was it, 3 ish - one ish apiece. But we made it back alive!!!!
      City: Yuba City

Tips: Fishing has really slowed down the past two or three days, according to several sources. Water is soooo clear, you might have to go to lighter line and smaller baits. Carolina-rigging is working well or me. The big ish was on a carolina rig

Got there at about 7:00a.m. and caught one bass that was one pound on a black 4 inch worm with a chartreuse tail. I spent a lot o time cruisin' around in my new kickboat just enjoying the scenery. Report: Fished and stayed south for 1/2 day. Wind was blowing good all day. Loaded up four rods, worm, fluke, crank, and frog. All baits were able to get at least a 4 lber in the boat on this day, with a 6+ on a worm. Lots of bucks to be caught as well. Fished flats and weed mats. Frog got about 8 blowup's but only one fish in the boat. Even pulled out frogzilla and got one blowup and missed it, it was a good'n. sTony you could owe me a dollar.
