      Water Temp: 60

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Went out of the Hook, 60 water, coldest was 58, water very clear except main channel. Went into Piper, Franks Tract, and Middle River. Best fish came on Spinnerbaits and Flukes. However I started the am with the buzzbait and had three blowups, all misses, so I went to a rico and that got em. Thinking it was a more subtle bite switched to the fluke and they were on it as well. Jig fish came on pitches rather than flipping, and swimming it back, look for shade, it always helps. See you tomorrow.. Timdog

      Water Temp: 60+

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Bank fished Clifton Ct. Forebay from 1:00am to 6:00am with no luck. Threw the tackle box at em' to no avail. Walked over to Italian Sl. just before sun up and slayed em' with black in-line buzz bait. Caught enough fish to fill the aquarium. I say that because largest fish might and I repeat might, have been a whole ten inches! wow! Cold front was in effect so who knows. As soon as sun rose high enough to delete the shade and shadows, fish stoped biting. Anybody out there gettin' any fish from the banks around the south delta? E-mail me and lets talk!
      City: Castro Valley

Tips: Try black buzz baits on dark days/white,white/chartruse buzz baits on bright days. Best top water bite just before sun-up to just after.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched in my kickboat from Bailey Cove and proceeded towards the stables area...nothing.Fished some wind blown banks with a jig, nothing again.I then made my way to a cove between the ramp and Bailey Cove. It was protected from the wind. I tossed a green weenie into some reeds and was able to land four fish in the last half hour of daylight. The biggest being about 3 1/2lbs.Also hooked and lost a nice one right before getting it into reach.
      City: santa clara

Tips: Talked to some guy there on Saturday who said he caught one over 12 lbs. Could be true, I've caught an 8 and a 10 on the same day last summer. Carolina rigged(1/8 oz.) worms or twin tailed grubs in dark colors or chartreuse lizards.Brown jigs.
