Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Today is the third day in a row i went! My dad and i went rom 5-8pm . I was wading and my third cast ( tules/south end ) i pulled out a little 1 pounder in the same spot as yesterday.and i managed to get 2 more( 1 was about two pounds and the other was like 12 oz). My irst two were again on a tequilla sunrise colored worm. The 12 ozer was on a 3" rainbow trout colored sot jerkbait. But the highlight was when my dad nailed a 4 lb largemouth. He texas rigged a tequilla sunrise colored worm and lipped near a loating log ater he say its tail swimming. This is gerald your 14 year old riend signing o. P.S. no prob BigVal.
      City: Livermore

Tips: The purple sot plastics are really getting to the bass. But you have to really work the tules thoroughly. I missed my second ish about 6or7 times. Then i inally got'em. Also sot jerkbaits worked in the later hours ater the boils started raiding the water.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished Conn Saturday with my girlriend in my boat and ished agianst my buddy in his boat. Morning started o slow because they care-taker didn't unlock the gate until it was kind o late. Finally got on the water about 6:20. Had 2 ish on right o the bat only landing 1 using a loating worm thrown into shallow cover. Picked up 1 more early ish throwing a tube bait. Went or a couple o hours without getting a bite but seing tons o ish. Luckily my girlriend had to use the restroom so we headed or the dock when I spotted a little tulle clump. I threw my loating worm next to it and stuck a 6-pounder. I continued down the shoreline picking up 1 more ish and losing a bunch more. Fish were up shallow sometimes in schools o about 30-40 ish. This was really weird. Mostly all males. The emales should be ready to move up in the next week or so depending on the weather. Some are already there. There are many beds that have been anned out but there are no ish on them. At the end od the day I had 4 keepers that weighed 17lbs. My buddy had 2 ish or 8lbs. All my ish came o o the ront shoreline. Not a bad day or this lake. All the ish seemed to be cruising around. Not many ish locked down on the beds. Too early! The water was 61 degrees in the morning and when i let the surace temp was 67.

Report: Fished rom 8:00 am until 7:00 pm. Picked up 6 ish to 5 lb. Hard to establish a pattern. 3 hit on a Chartruese Ninja spinnerbait (3 tomahawk blades). 3 hit on one o my hand poured creations (2 on blue/purple, 1 on baby bass. All ish were near the bank in dead vegetation that was near semi-submerged live brush. All ish were caught beore 1:00 pm ad the bite shut down hard. There were a bunch o pre-spawn emale hawgs suspended in tree branches that were not interested in ANYTHING! I hassled another ish in the shallows or an hour and it ignored everything. Would not even be provoked into an angry reaction bite.

Tips: Try throwing the kitchen sink.

Report: The Bass are in 20 to 25 eet o water in the back o the coves during the late aternoon. I caught two 2-1/2 pound largemouths in just 45 minutes rom the bank in the Clikapudi Trailhead area o the Jones Valley inlet. I was ishing around the willow trees in that area. Some o the bites I got were rom Bass suspended at the 20 oot level just next to the trees. As the water warms up in the next ew weeks, the Bass ishing should go rom moderate to extreme. The Bluegill are already spawning in the rear areas o some o the coves that I was ishing Sunday, so the Bass won't be ar away in their spawning.
      City: Redding

Tips: I was ishing a Texas rigged 4" OxBlood/Blue and a OxBlood/Blue with a light green tail Magic Worm with a 1/64th oz weight very slowly on the bottom. The two ish I did land hit the worm just ater it hit the bottom.Try to hit the lake on the weekdays because the Jet Skiers are really messing up the water on the weekends. I was just ortunate to get the two ish I got in this one protected cove. My other two coves were so murky that you couldn't see your hand just two inches under the water.Good Fishing All!
