Water Temp: ?
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Let at 3:30 AM thursday morning rom Ben Lomond. Ater the 4.5 hour drive, got to clear lake and ound the water level to be quite high. Bite was tough over all. I got two dinks and a 2.5# on thurdsday. JC got one dink. Friday, another buddy came up and joined us and we headed tothat main point near the south end o the lake, near the oriental shrine,(or what ever it is). I hooked into a nice 4.2 pounder. JC got a 3.6 pounder at camp rom the shore (state park). That was it or Friday. Saturday we went out in the am and I got two, one dink and one about 2.5 pounds. That was it or the whole trip. Front came through and the winds came up at about noon putting stop to the boating and hadn't stopped blowing when we let Sunday morning.Tips I got all my ish on baby brush hogs. The ish are dug in deep in cover. The lake level is very high which allows you to get your boat back in the thick brush. Use weedless rigs and cast in as ar back as you can. The ish are spawningso please practice catch and release

Water Temp: Mid 50's
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Caught 8 ish to 3 pounds, all on small plastics. Threw top water and rip baits in themorning with no takers. Didn't get ish until moved out to 15 eet (not surprising since it was apost ront bluebird day). Water in the north ork was extremely clear. Main body and south orkhad nice green hue to it. Saw, lots o old beds so there should be a lot o suspended post-spawnbass about to turn on.
City: Fair OaksTips: Top water and just about any reactionbait should produce lots o numbers as soon as thosepostspawners have caught their breath. You deinately want to be on Folsom this Thursday!!!!!Suggest Spooks and Rico's early. Shad raps and similar plugs in subdues colors ater the sun hitsthe water. Also, since the water is so clear, the ish will hang in the edges o trees or cover sorun those baits right threw the edges o the trees.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: On the water at 6:05am. First cast produced a nice 1 1/2 bass, and a ew ater that another one about the same size.We caught 11 ish, the best came on a carolina rigged5" grub, a nice 4.6lb. emale. The only setback was thewind that kicked up about 8 o'clock and didn't quit allday. Saw a couple o bald eagles, and an osprey do it'sdive into the water or a ish, but he missed it. Alsosaw a nice buck in velvet. It was a nice day.
City: SebastopolTips: catching ish is not the only reason to go up to the lake.I you look around you can see a lot more o what natureis all about. Oh yeah', as the bass ollow the shad it'sa good Idea to use an imitation o them, and one o thebest is the grub in compatible colors to imitate the shad.

Report: I just moved to Tracy from McMinnville, OR. I really enjoy bass fishing and am looking forward to all the fishing in the area. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on even where to start on the Delta. Any info. would be greatly appriciated. Also I am interested in purchasing a boat and have narrowed it down to a Ranger or a Triton. Any pros or cons on either.

Both were caught on a Carolina-rigged, craw-pattern zipper grub(pointed-tail, not curly) -- one green, one red. Nothing on a jerkbait or spinnerbait. When the drizzle started around 6:45pm, Iheaded or the SJ ponds o Coleman Ave & caught several more (same rig), but all were barely 1 lb. apiece. One guy said hesaw a *10 pounder* caught there a week or so ago, reportedly on a 'Rooster Tail.'
