Report: Fished Shasta or the irst time ever Sunday - Wednesday. Started out with the tips Irecieved via this web page, thanks! Caught over 70 ish in 3 1/2 days. Biggest 2.8# smallie, mostin 1.5 to 2.3# range and mostly spots. Several ish coughed up crawdads in livewell. I ishedsecondary points in Pit and Squaw with chunk rocks preerable darker rocks, caught ish on everybank like that. The creeks coming into the lake were raging, clouding up the water near them butthe irst point away rom the creek with clear water held lotsa ish, generally the biggest ish orus. Also the North side o both arms overall had the most ish by ar. Bite was very light onrubber, set on every hesitation on line, you won't regret it!!!!! Love those 1 - 2# spots theyought like crazy on my light spinning gear with 6 # test. Thanks or the tips to all o you thathelped me, wish I could ish that lake in a ew weeks when water warms up, WOW!!
City: PortlandTips: First light to 7:30 and last hour 1/2 o daylight - white spinner with chart. grub trailer, TDMinnow, white Norman crankbaits.Mid-day - 1/16 darter head with white Fin-S (4 in. with 3/4 in. cut o head) or clear sluggo withsilver/black lake (same size) 3 in. sluggo too skinny not as many strikes, 4 in. a little beeier. Also oxblood craw with green lake same darter head.

Report: Went out around 4pm and made our way to some coves in the main body. Fished the brush piles with brouwn and orange jigs, we hooked u with 2 ish about 3#. Then we went up to skunk and made our way through some thick brush. We cought a 3.5# on a white spinnerbait and managed 2 more ish, both were 4# on the jig. Looks like the ish are up in the deeper brush piles.
City: santa rosaTips: Use 1/4oz. brown and orange jig with a brown twin tail to give it some vibration. The ish hit them hard, so be ready to set the hook. Find the isolated brush piles with repeated casts. Might try spinnerbaits, most came rom the coves.

Water Temp: low 50's
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished last Tuesday with the brother inlaw. had a good day with over 2 limits form 2 to 4lb fish. Most all cought on jigs with one caught on a crank bait and one on a spinner bait. On monday of this week fished with Dan whom I met on line on this site. We caught over 2 limits on black and blue jigs from 2 to 3 1/2lbs. Thanks Dan, I`am glad you had a good day. I like people to catch fish when they go with me. It`s a lot more fun. The bite is still on, on black and blue jigs, just ask Dan. worked real slow around tullies and on rip rap. Most of the fish I catch on blades and cranks have been on the small side. The nicer fish have come on jigs. Keep a tight line.
City: LivermoreTips: Tips: Keep flipping and pitching black and blue jigs.

Report: Fished North Delta Monday (What's new for Hippie) morning was blue bird and warm, the spinnerbait bite I had going died. I knew that the front was moving in and as soon as the tide turned and the clouds covered the bite would turn on. Sure enough after 2 1/2 hours of no bites Dad flipped a fat 2 1/2 lb male, bout five minutes later he got another buck about 2. I am still biteless so I decide to hit a good spot I had not fished in awhile. Pulled in and Dad flips another 2, move on down the bank and Wham I stick another 7.4, yes two weeks in a row a 7.4, i move on down and stick a three another three and decide lets crank some riprap with the cloud cover and warm temps. First cast with a firetiger green Fat Free Shad anohter 3+, move on down and get about four more on this bank all in the three + range fat bueaties. Go back to filppin and we both get a couple more nice fish. ended up being a great day on the water with Dad. Two weeks in a row 5 fish for over 20 lbs. I am happy.
City: SacramentoTips: Tips: Went to flippin a green 7 inch lizard and crankin the green firetiger and the bite turned on. Still say ya gotta have the cloud cover Blue bird makes it tough.
