Report: Due to high run off, continued rain, levees under critical pressure, some sandbagging being required, and heavy debris floating in the water, STOCKTON BASS is cancelling its February 15th Tournament. Hopefully, all will be well for the March 28/29 Pro-AmE vent. We sincerely regret the necessity to cancel this tournament, but, feel that it is in the best interests of all. Water Temp: 46-49

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: After some period of clearing water and rising temps, the bite on the Delta had begun to improve. We saw the temp rise to about 55 degrees and the fish were moving into the shallow rocky areas to feed, late in the afternoon was best. Pitchin & flippin Jig s and Ring worms(blk/chart) to these shallow fish seemed to work best. This last weekend though, saw the temp plummit back down to as low as 46 degrees and the muddy water pouring down the Sacto R. has again made a mess of things. The bite the last 4 days has again become very tough. Best bite is tossing lipless cranks, working them very slowley on the grass flats. Shaking worms in the marinas has also been very effective.

Report: My partner and I fished on Saturday & Sunday. On Saturday we caught about 20 keepers between 7:00AM and 1:00PM. Fish were hitting plastic worms in about 5 feet of water. Color did not seem to matter nor did the presentation type. They were also on pla in old do nothing banks. They seemed to just be laying there enjoying the sun. We went back on Sunday and could not hardly get bit. Saturday was clear and warm. About 64 degrees. Sunday was windy and rain came in. The tenperature dropped considerably
