Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Personally I think the rangers suck, so I would never stop by and tell them how much of a good job there doing because there not doing a good job. I cant see why they wont let you fish some of these lakes at night or early in the morning. Calero is getting so much money from the launch fees and parking fee's and I dont see where that money is going. Anderson at least put up a nice boat launch facility. A lot of our lakes are loaded with trash along the shore. Chesbro is probably the worst. Anyways, How's the fishing? I would fish here but nobody has put up much of a report to convince me too.
City: Morgan HillTips: From what I have ecountered the Santa Clara County Rangers aren't very nice people.

Report: When its windy bust out the spinnerbait and toss it around the main lake points.
-
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Yea there is heavy cover. The summer is when all the weeds grow at Calero. Thats why the frog bite is so good in the summer at our bay area lakes.

Report: is there heavy cover in the lake this time of year????????? what part of the lake?
City: san joseTips: smells like jealousy!

Report: It's clear you have no other skills besides dropshoting...Enough Said. Now let's get to posting some fishing reports. Anybody fish Calero lately?
Tips: What are you gonna do when the bass are tight in the cover and you cant dropshot?? Cuz you can't throw that d-rig in there. Try flipin a jig in heavy cover...

Report: hey johnny boy. why dont u and that other guy stop yalkin smack to eachother. im 14 years old and u guys sound less mature than me. i agree with webronin.i catch alot of dinks but they are not something to bragg about. Im 14 and i know how easy it is to catch fish on dropshot, actually everybody knows, even my 9 year old little cuzin, who by the way reads these reports, and he doent need to hear people like u talking like that.
City: Pacifica,CATips: next time put something that is worth reading

Report: JohnnyGIRL - Now you're freaking me out. Where do I get off talking like that, you ask... You asked for it. Enough of this, this site is for reports and by reading what you have posted in the past, you don't really have it down. Include things like depth, presentation, etc, not how great at the dropshot you think you are... nobody cares. Look for the Skeeter whackin em and you'll find me. As far as your last statement... Suprise!!!
City: Morgan HillTips: Fish this lake for more than a few months and let me know where you will be catching em come winter. It's prettty darn easy getting dinks in the summer.

Report: The wacky rig senko kicks ass if your sight fishing. Im not sure about fishing that rig if your trying to locate fish in deeper water. I just recently caught an 8 pounder on that set up but I used a red hook with it.
Tips: red hook, no weight, hook in the middle of senko
-
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Hey guys, Johnny Boy is right on the money. I met up with my buddy yesterday and he said he couldn't get a hit for the last three ours and I said what are you using. Guess what a WACKY RIGGED SENKO. I pulled out my drop shot rigged and tied on a 6" warmouth and BAM!!!!!!!!! First cast first fish of the day, a nice 4.7!
City: San JoseTips: Listen to Johnny and put down wacky rigged senko and pick up a drop shot rig.

Report: Fishing with minnows is fine. Have you ever been to Florida? They shiner fish there all the time. It's a riot and I had a blast when I did it. Fishing with live baby crawdads can be fun too. However, I do mostly fish artificial. But every once in awhile, ill try live bait. Live Bait is a blast.
Tips: Wacky rig senko is producing good numbers for me.

Report: Truth-
I can speak from personal experience, that Mike is on fish out there. Being from Minnesota, the only spooning I do is through the ice for Walleys. Mike took me out for a few hours when I was out there in December and we caught a dozen solid fish. The biggest was pushing 4lbs. I'll defer to him to share more - bottom line, I was amazed and impressed.
I did catch the big fish of the day, but let's not go there ;-)! -

Report: Ya I was just as defensive as you to my 30+ fish days in late feb early march. Send me an email and we can discuss this more. No sense turning this into a message board.
