Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Me and my family are planning a trip to Clear Lake 'round May or maybe some other time during the summer probably on the north end in Lakeport. I probably have around 3 days to fish, and it's been a while since I was last here. Just wondering what I should bring for beginners to feel the passion for bassin that I have.
Tips: I dunno much about finesse techniques and colors. Should I go with a guide?

Report: Bennit,
It's obvious that you copy and pasted that kid wiht the fish in the picture. You say you caught that 1 week ago? The lkae looked nothing like that a week a go. It was pouring rain, not a sunnny day like it is in the picture at Rodman Slough. Nice try moron. -
Water Temp: 52
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Looks like those sturgen peolpe have been claming to see is true because I was up there at about 7:00 in the morning and I just saw them jumping everywhere. At first I didn't know what they were until one jumped about 10 feet away and rite away I knew what it was. I just cant belive they are heer at clear lake. someone must have recently put them in. I didnt have any luck catching one because i didnt have the rite tackle with me.
City: Santa RosaTips: if u catch one take lots of pictuers and email me.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: In comment to the sturgeon caught. In April at the Future Pro Tourney on Clear Lake I saw a sturgeon surface out of the water at take off from the launch, it had to be 100+lbs. I have an 18ft Champion and this fish jumped right in front of the boat & barely missed it, and it probably would of damaged my boat pretty bad if we hit it. Good luck to anybody who may catch that monster!

Water Temp: 68
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Very windy. Fished docks with worms & jigs . caught 3 limits of bass but nothing over 3lbs.
Sinkos worked good out of the wind. Cold front moved the bass deeper, not on the bank like last week. As the sun came out the bite picked up and I started catching them on a spinner bug around grass and tullies. My partner Delta Dave and I caught around 30 bass all day Sat. Lots of fun for the conditions. Waves weree 3 to 4 feet in the narrows. Sure like my 21 ft. stratos right now.Basin Bassmasters tournament went well almost every team had 10lb + limits.
City: OrtangevaleTips: Wait for a warming trend and throw sinkos everywhere. Color dosen't seem to matter. Wacky rigged worked to me. Brush hogs split shot worked last week shallow wheen it was 76 degrees?

Report: Just trying to get some info from those of you who fish clear lake. My family and I are thinking of renting a house there, im a fishing fanatic and know the fishing is good, but i was wondering if anyone had any info on the water conditions. Is the water clean and swimmable, i hear it gets pretty gross and mossy. If someone could email me or respond here on water conditions that would be great.
