Report: Didnt go out yet again, Yeah not that i mind sharing the lake with people i also dont mind being one o the only people mostly bass ishing either.im going to start tossin smaller shallow runing baits like the small rapalas and the pinns minnow bass and trout will be able to eat those smaller baits and tossin the big castaic baits when they plant trout.
      City: Pittsburg

Tips: Big baits on trout planting days will produce stripers and big large mouths when sping comes around and the blue gill and red ears come back up ill try tossin the castaic baby blue gill (i tested it last time i was there man that thing looks good its a little heavyer than nuetral. but looks great when you drag it sloly and pause it or give it a quick burst

Report: Yeah, It was good to see a isht that big in there, in addition to that he was clean too ins in perect shape nice pattern. No bugs just a nice clean ish looked to be lorida strain too with his real solid markings. Howver it wasnt much o a ight considering the guy had 30lb test and a 30lb class biggame rod he just horsed it up i i would have had that ish it would have been a good 15 min battle royal (tighten the drag loosen the drag back reeling the whole deal i had 6 lb and a spool o 17 in my bag on a MH action rod. there is always next time to catch a horse. I went out and bought a castaic swim bait and the castaic babby sun ish i igure i can use the trout till spring and ater that use the sunnie. Im headin out tomorow 2/5 to see what i can get.
      City: Pittsburg

Tips: Big baits when they stock the lake provide big largemouths and big stripers. west side o lake seems to be deeper and may provide good deep water holds or shore ishermen to test out.

Report: All the docks were crowded. Me and my riend Jared ished let o beach soaking anchovies on one rod and wentor other stu on other rod. Nothing hit the anchovies, got a bunch o bluegill on worms and damsellies. Worms willwork at irst, but then they won't hit them anymore. Saw a couple o kids hook into a 20 inch largemouth using aweighted small trout spinner, just beore ater they got up enough nerve to ask or my net, it plopped o the hook.

Tips: Catch a dragonly or small damselly, put it on the hook under a small bobber, bluegill and maybe a small bass will hit it as soon as it hits the water.
