Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: I have been fishing folsom occasionally from the bank out of Brown's ravine. I have had some success, but no really big fish and the fish I usually catch are spots. I had great success over the past year or two near mormon Island and since then it has not been the same. I know that spotted bass are roamers, but I'm not really interested in Spots I want largemouth or smallmouth which are few and far in between. I have used flukes, hula grubs, and tubes. I have gotten some fish to go on the Griffon Zero (Largemouth) and the Buzzjet. Help me somebody please I'm starting to question my fishing skills. I don't have a boat. Just tell me I'm screwed trying to fish this lake from shore and I will rest assured haha

Report: That a Boy Scott! I'm there for you bro..like you were for me when I posted my report regarding fishing and unsafe water practices by underage kids. Look Capt.Kev you still won't post your email address but you have no problem posting all the other garbage that comes out of your 2 cents(I wanted to be polite) so I said 2 cents. Anyway my email address is there if you want to take this offline but knowing you you would rather post your BS here instead of being a real man and leaving your email address. Scott I am like you I believe that your day on the lake should include everything detail and if that means unsafe boaters then be it. Good luck and I think I am joining the FBL next season. My three kids love fishing Folsom and I take them out regularly Capt. Kev and I just wish for once that they can enjoy their time on the lake like everone else. If anyone else has their 2 cents just email me and we can talk like Adults offline. Tight lines and be safe.
Tips: Capt. Kev get a clue Dude !

Report: Scott--Love it! You need a subclass of Pleasure Boater for the ones who can't get the boat on or off the trailer and have not a clue what the etiquette is on a lake full of boats. Hopefully they will learn fast with non-violent input from other boaters. This is all part of life on Folsom.....at least have a laugh about it, and probably get off the lake by noon to preserve your sanity and safety!
