      Report: Fished Sat/Sun in the stormy weather.Upper McCloud and upper sac arms. (cousin Stan down rom Oregon)Averaged 20 ish perday between the two o us, or six hours o ishing. Couldn't buy a reaction ish, but didn't get on the water till 9am both days. Monday ished bluebird day on the McCloud, got thirteen by noon. Had to work or all our ish.

      Tips: Slow presentation, steep rocky stu. Shaking darterheads with the #99, and drop shotting MGM "Arons Magic" worms.

      Report: Fished the 2 day Shasta Cascade Bass Anglers Fall Classic. Concentrated on points in the Sac, Pit and Squaw arms. Found scattered ish on banks with chunk rock and gently sloping. Only one or two ish per location. Drop shotting 3" shad colored worms and Texas rigged 6" oxblood worms or 8.5# Saturday and 10.5# Sunday or a 2 day total o 19# good enough or 19th place. Fish were scattered and not on every point. Not a single taker on topwater or spinnerbaits.

      Report: Freezing last night, so hit the water at 8:30 am, o at 1pm. Ten keepers in the boat, mostly drop shotting and using 1/4 oz darterhead. Best ive went 9.5 lbs, which is pretty good in my book. (no big guys).Fished the upper McCloud. The ish I ound semed to be on the steeper stu, with the larger rock. Drop shotted MGM worms and used the #99 on the darterhead.

      Tips: Oh boy, can only get better now. They still wanted slow presentation, with no reaction bite or me. Best bite was ater 11am.

      Report: Beautiul weekend at Shasta, all except or the ishing and the WIND! Wind was the worse I have ever seen in all the times ive been to Shasta. Fished Sac Arm, trout isherman did very good, while mysel a Bass Fisherman did just ok. No big ish the whole weekend, bigged going only 1.75. Caught most ish drop shotting 4" worms in crawdad and olive green with red sparkle colors. Most ish were in 35-45 eet o water. On Sunday couldnt ind the ish, inally ound them suspended about 40 eet down in 80 eet o water. Hopeully the ishing picks up, wont make another trip til spring.

      Tips: Drop shot, dont waste your time with much else. Bring a downrigger and catch some nice trout, guy landed a 13 1/2 pounder in the lake head tourney.

      Report: ished sac arm cuts and inside o points and mouths o small bays and creek channels. Most bass came out o 35 eet o water. ished a very small shad colored bait with smelly jelly basseast. dropshotted all o my t.o.c. ish with the exception o one spoon ish on a hopkins .75 ounce little shorty spoon. weighed in with 14 pounds or two days inished approx. 18th out o 83 boats.

      Tips: look or bait and dont waste your time ishing anywhere else. Didnt waste time on topwater tried it or approx 30 min.

      Report: FISHING IS VERY TOUGH NOW WITH BITES COMMING OFF OF SOFT PLASTICS USING DROP SHOTS OR DARTER HEAD WORMS. THE HARD BAIT BITE JUST HAS NOT KICKED IN JUST YET.

      Report: In a word , TOUGH. Fished the NewBass Team Spectacular. Great tournament.Congrats to the teams that ound the ish. Found a pattern late on Friday, dropshotting 4 inch purple ghost or morning dawn worms in 25 - 30 eet on the inside o points. Started Sat with topwater and got 2 quick keepers and several blow ups and small ish. When the sun came up bite died. Tried everything else no takers, 1 more keeper on a dropshot. Sunday NO topwater or reaction at all but the ds bite was better. Weighed a small limit but lost 2 in the 3 lb class.

      Tips: Use 12 to 16" between sinker and hook. Look or bait in 24-30 eet o water. No bait don't waste your time. Boulders and big chunk rock are good. Try a spook until the sun comes up.

      Report: i got this site rom guys at the mill.about 5-6 times a week i work in an area where a 4x5 has been living or our years.8:47pm. riday nite the nite beore deer season,one certain local SLC resident shows up behind the mill and kills or POACHES the 4x5. i call authorities and let them know that 2 shots ired and i a certain person and younger accomplace. just happen to ill a tag with a 4x5. guess what you did. i hope i collect the money or turning you in. i have worked in the mills in shasta county all my lie my ellow workers have the deepest disrespect or youi you poach deer you probably cheat in yourishing tournaments i hope everyone turns there back on you in SLC i will bad mouth you or the rest o my lie in shasta county.

      Report: not good reaction bite. worms no good, but caught 4 ish 1.15 to 3.67 on new jig at phils get halo jig in white in 3/8oz. put pork eel strip on rear and hang on they really work. eat oranges boyd

      Report: Fished the upeer McCloud, water temp at irst light dropped our degrees rom last week. (78'), very nice. Started out with top water, nada. Threw a rip bait or ive minutes or one dink. Started throwing a 5" yamamoto twin tail skirted grub, ion pumpkinseed, and began catching ish.Ended up with 12 up to 1 1/2 lbs. Tried worms on darter head and drop shotting or a couple, but nothing to brag about. I had an in experienced isherman with me that I even had to teach how to cast. He got two snags, (which turned out to be two nice largemouth, both over 3 lbs.)on a 1/8 oz darter head worm, the "rainbow" #272. Rookies have all the luck!!!!!!!

      Report: Spent all our time in the McCloud.(Annual Family vacation). All daytime usually aternoon or a couple o hours. Biggest ish(1.75) all week came on irst day in a willow tree on a dropshot. Lots o bait and some ry in the backs o coves BUT no bass o size. Ran up past the McCloud bridge one day and got into a couple o schools o 1.5rs. Dropshot and darthead blue worms. My SO caught her 1st and 2nd bass.Caught 15 even some ater the swimmers and wakeboarders arrived to jump o the bridge. Hey its their lake too.

      Report: Fished the Contra Costa Bass Club tourney on Sat. and Sun. We launched out o Packers Bay at sae light and I ran up to the Pitt arm just below Squaw Creek. Fished all main lake points back down to the bridge. My irst day partner caught a 1 1/2lb. on irst cast o the day on a super spook with no other takers or the morning top water bite. I just drop shotted all day both days catching 30 ish on sat and 50+ un sun. Fished 20-35 t with 4in green robo worm until about 12pm. Fished the mudlines in the aternoon or largemouths. Best 5 on sat 8.7 and on sun 8.6.

      Report: launched out o jones vally today skied rom 3 to 7. Fished rom 7 to 930. caught 25 all within 1 to 3 lbs. one in about 6 1/2 and one 4 1/2. all caught on crank baits.

      Report: Folsom Bass Team's annual event. Great Club.. 24 teams! more than the previous Anglers Choice event the previous week. Oh well. Lots o numbers caught. Every point has ish. All it takes is some luck to catch one over 2 lbs and you do well. We primarily ished blades. W/W Ton's o un and it was hard to ish the worms although you may ind more numbers. We easily had 30-40 +/- hook ups a day. What a ishery. We caught several ish that had resh plastic in there mouth, most likely caught within the last couple o days. Amazing!

      Tips: I your ishing reaction, such as blades, ish the wind banks with a little mud line. White/white blades slow rolling down as deep as you can go. Although, many hit them right on the bank early in the morning. have un
