      Water Temp: 85

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: No moon... No wind... No warm summer air... no baitfish.. These were the conditions friday night at our short two fish trip to amador! Temperature had dropped of into the 70's by midnight and the bass just did not want to bite nothing! Threw big baits the whole time with no success very frustrating but hey that is bass fishing i guess i just have to get better! No excuses! Same spots in the lake hold fish year around you just have to find what they are eating and take your time and grind grind grind till you get that limit!!
      City: CH

Tips: Bring a Warm cup of coffee. Maybe some cold beer and just hit the spots that hold bass and just keep your line tight!!! Fish crawdad color patters and top water before dark and all through the night but pray for the Moon!!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished Columbia Cut, Empire Cut, then north to White Slough. On the water at 8:00, off at noon. Caught 6 black bass to 2.5 and 1 small striper plus a large fish that broke off. All but one on a speed trap, the other on a chatterbait. The fish were small but numbers seemed possible - had to leave early due to mechanical issue.
      City: Stockton

Tips: Don't overlook active discharge pipes. Smaller fish fun on light tackle but then you risk the break off like I had.

      Water Temp: Forgot to look

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Took the float tube out on Thursday and hooked four. Biggest going about 2.5 right at nightfall. Used cranks, senkos, frogs and robo worms. Best luck on robo tossing to edge of weed lines.

Friday I launched out of Holland Marina. Fished Connection Slough and Mandy. Caught 8-10 Black Bass and three small stripers. Had a few blowups in the morning on Zara Spooks but no hookups. All Black Bass came on robo worms or senkos.
      City: Livermore

Tips: Happy to see stripers making their way back in. Can't wait for the weather to cool down so I don't have to listen to rap music from wakeboarders while I am fishing.

Report: Launched at 2:30 pm at Russos, it was too windy I was not being able to fish at franks, headed to disappointment slough. Fished with senkos but just small fish. Put some topwater and Blue gill started to hit on it. I tried to punch some grass but only one action.
Well headed back to franks in the end of the day, got a stripped 10 lbs on a spook, lost more 2.

Tips: I am going after strippers, hehehe because I am not finding big bass, lately.
Top water at sunrise and sunset seems to be getting stripers!

Report: Launched outta Ladds about 10:00am headed for a drop off right off a tulie island point, threw a 1oz spinnerbait and suspending crankbait on it for about 45 mins and didnt get touched. We headed into whiskey and we fished there for the better part of the day losing one frog fish so we headed further back and started throwing the 1oz spinnerbait and crankbait again right down the middle of the slough, fishing the deeper grass and got nothing. We headed to the mouth of the calavaros throwing frogs and nothing there. Headed back to the ramp and on the way in decided to fish the boat slips and my buddy nailed two 4lbs and lost another about the same size on the frog.
      City: modesto

Tips: Fished all day out in the wind and didnt get touched, we hit the boat slips where its nice and calm and hit a couple decent fish....go figure.

Report: Last time on Folsom for bass I got skunked. A question please. Could anyone share where on Folsom (or any other body of water nearby) where I could get into some bluegill action with my son? It would sure be appreciated. He would be in hog heaven catching and throwing back little bluegill for an afternoon. Nothing like watching that bobber dance to get a 3 yr old excited. (I still do). Thank you for your time.

Headed to Turner cut and fished berms and then moved over to the north side tullys and had several blow ups on frogs but could not stick one. Started throwing a drop shot wacky senko and picked up three dinks on inside weed line.
Moved back out to the main channel and cranked on about four pounds on a chart/shad Timber Tiger.

Report: This place is a waste of time. The banks and shoreline are littered with goose crap.....it is freakin disgusting. Even the swimming area is gross. We tried all types of bait and got nothing. Too bad this place has a goose problem.
      City: Hayward

Tips: Don't waste your time with this place.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Was out on Monday with 2 clients. The day was slow to say the least. All of the fish we caught where on a drop-shot rig in 30 feet north of Big Island. Did not have a topwater bite at all this time. Lots of bait from 10 to 20 feet but no feeders. Graphed lots of fish from 28 to 35 feet but not very hungry. Lets hope for cooler nights.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched out of Holland at 4:00pm with my Daughter and her friend. I fished the center berm all the way down to the Bridge in Rock. I threw frogs and buzzbaits. 3 Frog fish all on the Sparrow color frog on red colored matts, not the real cheese thick matts. Biggest fish was a 4.3lb. the other 2 were 2+. Only managed one buzzbait fish also a 2+. I did not get any action on the white frog this evening. The Frog needs to be work very slow over the reddish color matts, little taps on the rod to make the frog jerk an inch at a time.

Tips: Work that frog slow, slower with taps on the rod. I do not know why they would not eat the white? I think the Buzzbait was alittle to quick for them this evening. Keep throwing the Bobby D buzzbait in the open areas over the sparse weeds and hold on.
Also watch out for the out of control women on the Jet cycles coming around corners full speed, someone is going to get hurt out there because they do not understand the Delta, or have any respect for anyone else on the water.

Report: Fished old salmon falls bridge this morning. Caught some nice blacks up to 4.5 lbs and a few keeper spots. Water was a little off color. Plastics on deadstick proved to be the ticket. Shad color worked best today. Started off at the 20-30 foot areas where I caught the smallies Staurday, but no takers, I checked on them twice to no avail.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Started out first light. The topwater bite was graet with the warm morning.Hit every point from Franks to middle river with a rattling topwater. The bite was ok. then my partner tied on a silent topwater bait and schooled me for the next hour. He landed 7 fish in the 3-4 lb range and 1 decent striper. A very good day for us.
      City: Knightsen

Tips: The fish seem to want a silent bait over the rattling/noisy spook bait.Fish across the points. There were lots of 5-6 inch shiners in the water. The fish seem to be feeding on them.

      Water Temp: 75

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched at Orwood at 6:00 AM and headed to Disco Bay. Had one blow up on the frog in Disco but it didn't commit. Started to head toward old river and saw a school of shaker stripers feeding on shad. Partner and I caught about 15 shakers and one black on spooks and crankbaits before deciding to look for some bigger fish. Fished old river and rock slough the rest of the day and got 7 or 8 blacks, mostly in the 1-2 pound range. Pulled up to my favorite tree and stuck a pig on the drop shot only to have her come off right at the edge of the boat. One quality bite all day and she came unglued. Whatever we threw only seemed to produce bites when it was fished very slowly.
      City: Brentwood

Tips: Slow down...and stay away from the first dock as you enter Cruiser Haven. Some idiot didn't like us fishing near his dock so he decided to break out his shotgun.

      Water Temp: 70's

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished out of B&W, headed towards potato and white's. Caught a few on a persuader double-buzz in the morning, then went to throwing a frog. Gave up after a half-dozen fish missed or wouldn't commit!!! Started punchin',stuck three and missed one good bite. Went back towards B&W and fished around lighthouse, stuck three more on a senko around the docks.
      City: EG

Tips: Overall the delta bite seems a little sketchy. Try punchin' when you find decent water cause the frog is gettin' thrown a little too much in this area!!!!!
