Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: I went to Lafayette reservoir at 6:30 am and fished till 11:30 am. I had my limit of bass in that period of time. My smallest fish was 2lb and my largest fish was 4lb i was very happy with the fight.
      City: Walnut Creek

Tips: I use 25 lb braid and 12lb mono with rip baits by weeds and docks. Feel for a good pull that feels like weeds but after you set the hook it runs. Also dropshot with a 4 inch robo worms are killer. Fish very slow and keep it simple and the most important part is remember to catch and release. Have Fun

      Water Temp: 65-71

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Wed. I took out a couple of fun guys and very good fishermen. I was incouraged at the begining of the day when we saw some action on top, but there were no top water takers. The low pressure system that had moved in was in force and the bass were spread out and not very interested in feeding during the day. We tried a variety of lures which produced either no strikes or short strikes. The only things that produced for the guys were tubes, senko's and robo worms.
      City: Paradise

Tips: I think the full moon and the low pressure system and the lake droping 5 feet spread the bass out. When the pressure is stable the bite will be back on. The good news is most of the wood is now on the banks.

Report: Fishing was a little slow for the bass, nothing of any real size, one two pounder. Water temperature very warm in the coves, even near the dam water temp was around 73.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: on the water about 5pm, plan was to fish all night, after about 11pm and fighting the wind, called it a night, few that were caught were caught on a roboworm dart head, and one after dark on a black jig
      City: diamond springs

Tips: if your the only boat on the water fighting the wind.... go home, there is a reason your the only one

Report: Fished Sunday and today, the bite was on shallow. crankbaits and drop shot were the ticket. today was a bit different, the bite was not as aggressive. The bass wanted a more subtle presentation. I have to say, if you want to really get some good fishing in, go during the week, boat traffic is at a minimum and you can really work some of the coves where recreational boaters liket to hang out and make a fool of themselves.

Report: Took my oldest son out today. We started in the north end, missed a couple. Headed south of the bridge and caught 4 on drop shot and 1 on crank. Went back up north to rattlesnake cove and caught 1 more on drop shot and then had line snap on a lunker. Son caught 1 more on senko. All were on the small side (biggest was 2 lb). All were caught in 6-15 ft of water. Had a great day with my son.
      City: San Carlos

Tips: Go during the week if you can, boat traffic is minimal.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the Island Pond until noon today on my float tube, but there was no action. Tried a couple texas-rigged power worms and a black spinnerbait, but no takers. It was really cloudy and cold out this morning, with an unconsistant breeze. This was my fist time back in a while though, and there's a lot of weeds in the water now too.

Tips: Next time I'm going to try some frogs and buzzbaits above the weeds, and give worms a try again (texas-rigged roboworms, and try some drop-shotting along the northern side).

Report: The Stockton "Ports" baseball Team and a fan got a day on the Delta. The California BASS Federation Nation volunteers launched out of Ladds this morning and I headed up river near 14 mile slough. Stayed on the main body of water all morning using the Black/Blue Senko in the tules and when the tide went out we fished out side the weeds. Our morning was good, lost four 4-5 pounders at the boat but boated three nice larggies. The morning ended up with 15 to the boat. With the full moon the fish still were going all day, never stoped catching.
      City: Rocklin

Tips: Use also horney todds and Senkos, fish slow and wait.

Report: Fished Monday morning. Pretty windy early with a south wind. Made the peninsula tough to fish. Water is very high, so the lake looks really different. Never found the pattern. Plastics didn't work from 10-20ft. depth, where I focused. Got one spot on 4" worm up in NY Cove (stained water in there) in 10ft. about 2 lbs., the standare Folsom bass. That was the only bite! Fished steep banks, rocky areas and trees. Nada going on for me. Most excitement was watching the dirt haulers carving out the new spillway. There is a fancy tower on a hydraulic lift that says "Sheriff" on it, and a sheriff's SUV parked there. What is that for? Seems like a waste of money that we don't have these days!

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished this morning for a couple of hours at impoundment with a float tube. No bites on on a senko, weather was overcast and breezy. Never had much luck with bass on any of these lakes, but will keep trying cuz I know that they are there (at least that's what I hear..LOL!)
      City: Pacifica

Tips: Would appreciate any tips on fishing these lakes.

Picked up a few nice fish on topwater first thing in the morning, including a 2.5 on a popper and a 5 on a frog, then the top-water bite shut off. Got a few more keepers on the drop shot after that and called it a day. Best five was around 14 lbs.
