      Water Temp: 48

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Rain, wind, rain, widier, rain really windy. Tossed jigs in 5-15 feet of water on windward bank. Brown 1/8 oz for shallow rocks. All were spots up to 3.5 lbs for a limit of about 14 lbs Some tapped it, some thumped it hard, some were just there. Left at 10;00 A.M., I was not comfortable, everywhere I went there was swirling wind and it was getting worse.
      City: sac

Tips: Try lighter jigs up shallow especially in rocks and use a slow fall type bait or whatever tied to it. Drop-shotting rod stayed in locker because of wind but that may have been a mistake, you decide what you would have done. All fish were caught in the South Fork. Good fishing Jimbo

Report: One person guide trip for an Elite angler we mostly looked around but stopped to fish a couple of times. Got three fishing for about two hours total. One on speed trap crystalcraw, one on a brn jig and one one a bomber red/blk and missed one on the bomber. The fish were on the edge to deep water with a little current and all were near 2 lbs
      City: Martinez

Tips: We didn't fish very slow however I think more fish would have been caught if you slowed down with the cold water. It's nice to catch a couple of fish after Havasu.....!!!

      Water Temp: 50-52

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Launched out of paradise, seemed like we had the delta pretty much to ourselvs. fished various spots from there into the south delta. stained water all over with visibility of a foot or less. nice to see water temps starting to come up, 50* was the lowest we saw. still kind of slow. big beaver (a real one) came crashing out of the vines right next to the boat at one location, scared the **** out of us. pretty windy in the larger open areas made boat positioning challenging. fun day

Report: Much better today At LAST! Started back in the far cove first fish 4.6lbs. 6:15 Am. 3 or 4 1.5 to 2.0 another 5.5 about 9:30 and my big fish in a long time was 7.1 Lbs. Spinners off the banks in the early Am. I know it sounds crazy but there hitting them. Again Jigs in 5 to 20 feet. The fish where all nice and fat I think we may be in for an early spawn. I hope we get the rain this week as we need it bad.
      City: Fresno

Tips: Spinners off the banks in the early Am. I like my bluegill ones try making your own. Brown jigs with brown or pro gold. Drop shot if you like dark green and try this-- take the weight off your dropshot rig and put a JIG on it. 2 hooks are better than one and they like jigs in deep water as well. HINT.. SMILE. Have fun

Report: To Jimbo or whatever you hide behind. @ guys followed Jim around Sat watching him graph Fish .When he left they pulled up on his spot and caught 4 fish that went close to 13lbs So dont write in with your stupid inuendos About people you dont know or believe. Do you even fish or know how to. I work at Folsom and can attest that Jim is there more then most people that belittle his reports. So if you cant say anything good about anyone then dont come on here and belittle someone that reports.I'm personally tired of this report page and the stupid remarks that the uneducated write. And you are the uneducated one.

Nothing else so moved to the narrows - wind started up but nothing. Fished in 25-30' all morning dropshotting, worms and dartheads.

      Water Temp: 49

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Arrived just before seven and the gate opening so had a chance to chat with a fellow basser. Thanks for the chat!

Headed out towards Johnson to look at the prospects. Showing a few fish about 35-40 feet but not much activity. Tossed a beaver against the banks and drew it back but no takers. Moved off towards E point and pretty much the same story. Elected to hit Arrowhead Island area and the now exposed ground where reeds were at. Water is down a lot so watch for submerged trees near the toolies. Headed around the point towards the South end of the lake and stopped just inside the 5MPH zone to work the walls. Heaved out a jig head with a spyder grub and danced it around with only one smallie to fess up to. Continued south along the walls in about 32 feet of water, changed spyder grug colors and wham! A nice 3-4 pounder LG just as the guys I chatted with were leaving, saying the didn't score. Tossed back in and wham! A nice smallie but wouldn't hand enough. Continued working the walls out and banged another smallies. This one a good keeper. Two more in the boat with one more smallie keeper and it slowed down so I moved off to another location. Elected to call it a day at noon so I can get back in time for the Super Bowl
      City: Santa Maria

Tips: Be alert! Bottom ramp is open and main ramp is now closed so allow yoursel a little extra room to manuver.

All in all -- It was a great day. Sun came out and I was in my short sleeves by 11AM with just a slight wind. Fish seem to more populated towards the back as I never got a hit around the dam area points. If I tell ya the color then I will let out a secret so go figure it out. Just keep changing colors and you will hit on a popular one that will work.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Got in the water around 10. Only had a couple of hours.Wanted to see if it was better than last week. A couple of things. I had some bugs around my face. Good. Oh and now there is some grass( not much) on my line when I brought it up.Also good. Wasn't long after I started think about how good those two things are and POW! 2 pounder!
      City: East Bay

Tips: The winter is soon over and the fish ARE biting NOW. The water is going to get real muddy soon and temps are commin up. NOW is a great time to cash in on some easier to catch now than later fish. Bugs, grass, fish!
