Report: You Guys are right- Way to expensive to enjoy it enough to fish there- I would not recommend this lake until they drop the price- I paid $17.00 (Me Only) for just one day of fishing off the shore-
I have been "skunked" to many times at this lake to admit-
      City: Stockton

      Water Temp: 67

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: My buddy and i got on the water at 8:40am and he landed a small one almost immediately on a 4" black senko. I caught one about the same size 20 mins. later dropshotting with an Aarons magic robo. Soon after that I caught about a 2.5 pounder with same technique. We couldn't catch a cold after that though! I threw swimbaits, spinners, cranks, buzzbaits, basically the box. Fish are a lot deeper than you might imagine for this time of year. We were off he water by noon. Very slow day today.
      City: Willow Glen

Tips: Fish off points in 10-17 feet of water, I saw no fish on the banks at all. If you are short on patience then don't bother, go to the beach instead! We asked others how they did and it was much of the same, with all catches(or lack there of) coming on plastics.

Report: Why are they letting so much water out of Calero. It has gone down 8-10 feet in a week.
      What gives??????

      Water Temp: 61

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Chabot's bass spawning season appears to be over. Majority of the bass seem to be in the tullies or near structures. My fish finder didn't find any bass at my usual fishing hole which is Alder Point and the island. Instead, I had dozens of bites in Bass Cove and boated 3 LM with the largest around 2 lbs. I was on the water at 6:30am and started throwing PopR's and MS Slammer hoping for some topwater action but no takers. Then I tried shad crankbaits and rainbow jerkbaits and still no success. Now it's around 8am and the sun is hitting the water, I started targeting the tullies with roboworms in Bass Cove, and bang, one after another swallowed it as if they haven't eaten for days.
      City: San Leandro

Tips: Dropshot with 4" purple or pumpkin roboworms in about 8 ft of water just outside the tullies in Bass Cove.

      Water Temp: 60-65 or so

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished from about 3pm til 7pm in my tube. Hooked and lost one that was 3-4 lbs, landed another from the same spot about 1.5 lbs. Water was noticably cooler than last week when I was there on Sat. No other bites anywhere else. Fished the south end in the trees. Fish all took a wacky rigged senko flipped under the tree branches.
      City: Seaside

Tips: You tell me, although the wacky rigged senko idea was from a guy I talked to a few weeks ago, after I saw him land about a 6 lber on it.

Report: Fished wed. morning for three hours and only caught three bass, (1.5 lb range) using spinnerbaits in the willows. Heavy winds made fishing tough. Lake level is maxed out.
      City: Chico

Tips: Still learning the lake. Any suggestions welcomed.

      Water Temp: 65-68

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: All in all not to bad a day considering the conidtions. I was able to catch 11 keepers with the best 5 going at 18lbs. 10oz. with a 6.2 kicker. I was hoping to do some sight fishing but with the lake dropping some 6'to 8' and the water warm and stained this made things real difficult. Most of the better fish I caught including the 6.2 were full of eggs. This left me scratching my head. I feel that most of the spawn is over but with the water dropping this puts the fish on edge, so maybe there is still a wave to spawn. I caught most of my fish in or around spawning areas mostly coves. no real pattern, I caught fish on senkos ( green pumpkin), drop shot baby brush hog ( watermelon/red) and pointer 100 ( baby bass). I tried spinnerbait, buzzbait, rattletrap with the best bite coming from the top three baits. I hope this helps out the bite should get better with the weather improving and if they stop letting water out. Good luck and remember catch, photo and release.
      City: San Jose

Tips: I caught most of my fish from 2' to 4' of water but it seems like the most fish are out alittle deeper waiting for things to settle down. (ie. weather and dropping water). Concerntrate in or around back of coves and spawning areas there are still good fish back to be caught.

Report: Fished from 7-12 in White and Dissapointment. Only caught 4: 20" 3.11; 21" 4.9; 2lb and 1.0. The two 20"+ look like bucks and for that length, thought they would be heavier. Nothing on Senkos.
Fish caught on Zipper, Spinnerbaits (won on SABP contest).
      City: South San Francisco

Tips: All four fish caught tight in tules. Tried dropshoting - zero and only small pecks on senkos.

Report: The fishing is really good right now. I would bring Some Helicopter lures a few banjo minnows and a handful of flying lures in Junebug and have at it. The fish are all over. Good Luck

Tips: Heard Senkos, luckycraft pointers and jigs also might catch a fish as well. I would stick to the "seen on tv" lures personally.

Report: This is a late report from wedesday, Jim Ryan and I went out at Granite Bay at 2:30pm and headed to the dam on the right side. Working from the dam to the right using a 4" green pumkin lizard split shot style catching 12-15 small bass untill we got to that fence. Most of the bass came in 15-20 ft. Moving in front of Beals Point in the trees using green senko at the base of the tree. Still finding small bass. Working some of the new flooded areas, still small fish. Leaving at 6:30pm a good afternoon on folsom with a good friend and a good lunch.
      City: rocklin

Tips: Thanks Jim , fish slow and green/browns with some purples are good.

Report: although I didn't fish in Sonoma, CA the lake list consists of all the cities, yep, this webmaster is on top of it. I guess they don't even read it. goy on te lake at daybreak, little traffic, guess everyone had to work. headed to cherry creek & did some topwater. threw zaras & had 5 hook-ups to 3 1/2 #. water was calm & no wind. topwater stopped as sun started to rise. switched to spinbaits, had 1 hit & started throwing senkos in the grassbeds. caught & released 5 more up to 4 # with 4 of them big fat females. fished till 10 & headed home to get to SBC Park to watch the Pirates beat the giants. it was a nice day. enjoy life, before you can't.

      Water Temp: Mid 60's

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished Beaver, Hog, and Sycamore sloughs. 2 of us caught 7 keeper size and a bunch of small ones. Spent a lot of time dropshotting instead of tossing rat l traps & spinnerbaits. We probably caught over a dozen fish dropshotting in about 4-5 ft of water. The best one was 5.25 lbs (had to pull it out of sunken structure - great test for my 10lb line.). Best 5 around 13-14 lbs.
      City: Dixon

Tips: Used a Yamamoto 4 inch cuttail in red (009). Have to patient when you dropshot. Taught my buddy how to do it and he caught his first dropshot fish. Also, the crawdad colored rat l traps were working today.

Report: Took Greg Hultine from Nebraska out for a day on Folsom to show him around to our pond here. Ran down the south fork and started by dartheading a 4 lb. largey in trash pocket. Kept going on that bank and popped a fish every so often. Pulled up on an area i wanted to fish yesterday in the storm and couldn't and saw 5 or 6 fish just milling around. Greg tosses his stickbait up to one that appeared to be about a 4 lb. spot and she flashed at it. Caught a couple of smaller fish from this small area, but couldn't get this SIGHT fish to go. She obviously had a bed there as the more we kept harrassing her the more she stuck on this point. Moved out to the main body and caught some smaller fish in the trees, never saw a quality fish out there. The upcoming heat focasted for the next few days will really fire these fish up.
      City: Roseville

Tips: 4" finess worms and wacky Senkos were the ticket today.
